I am really mad at the Oilers right now. They traded away all the players I love. Especially Ryan Smythe. My husband is/was on a short break from work right now. He went up to Edmonton on Tuesday to meet an old friend that he played Junior Hockey with. This guy is the goalie coach now for Columbus and I haven't seen or heard from him since. WHAT A SURPRISE! He was supposed to be back at work today in Edmonton so I just hope he made it without too much of a hangover and doesn't get fired. And so yeah I am just hating Hockey right now.

Wow, March 3 is the most recent post. Bumping it because of Sean Avery and his stupid punk ass antics towards Martin Brodeur, during a powerplay. What is wrong with this guy? He gets in Martin's face, waving his stick around. Is he just jealous that Brodeur is better looking than him? Arrested development much?

I don't know. I doubt anybody would really know who the hell Sean Avery was if he wasn't such an obnoxious ass. (Although he's got three goals in the series....)

I just dread reading the Ottawa paper for the next few days, weeks, months. It's going to be whine city.

As a Ranger fan, I am dreading the inevitable fellating of Crosby for this series.

Avery may be a punk-ass bitch, but he's our punk-ass bitch. Marty may be a future Hall of Famer, but Avery's right - he's a fatso!

By the way, word is he'll be interning at Vogue this summer (which would probably make him the only person in that office who isn't sponging off Daddy). If only a camera could follow him around so we can see what he does to Wintour!

Wings just beat the Dallas Stars, who played professional hockey about as well as my late grandmother could have this evening. Wings turned up the heat (their last two games have been buried in WTF City) and got the job done. Whooeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Congrats to the Wings and to the City of Detroit - given the unfortunate situation we're experiencing here with the mayor and the awful economic climate in Michigan, this is a bright light in the skies for us. Now it's on to the Stanley Cup finals with Pittsburgh.
