Does anybody know if any of the top players are skipping the Olympics because of the pollution? I remember hearing something about it awhile ago, but nothing lately.

Poor Andy. His career has really not been what I thought it would be.

Poor Andy. His career has really not been what I thought it would be. And the thing with Andy is, that he seems so terribly self-aware. Which of course is a good thing normally but he has this ability of openly analyzing himself and the situation he's in and he shares that with everyone who asks. Maybe he should stop doing that. I'm not saying that he should do a Serena and blame everything but himself for losses and take away from the opponent's victory but I feel he's really let it get to him that guys like Roger and Rafa took off the way they did. He's a great player, still young enough and seems to be in good physical condition. Not to sound like a Scientologist ( ) but I think that with Andy it's partly a mental problem Yeah, not sure if I'm making sense here, sorry I just wish him all the best, I like Andy...

Last year, Djokovic was the media darling of the USO when he was doing his mockings and imitations of Rafa, but this year, they boo him off of the court. I love it! I can't stand the guy. This started with the press conferences by Tommy Robredo and Andy Roddick. I can't stand Andy, so he got two or three cool points from me for that, but now that D-Jerk is taking offense to it, Andy is now taking the I was just joking route. I think "some" of it was a joke, but there's also a lot of truth to it. Djokovic is a faker, and someone needed to call him out on his shit. He obviously cares a lot about being liked and adored, and (as usual) he gets all pouty and pissy when people don't cheer for him. I enjoyed seeing him be booed off of the court.

I for one hope that Roger kicks his ass...I hate Djokovic. Classic example of someone who can dish it but can't take it.

I was disappointed when Safin got knocked out early. Now I'm pulling for Roger to go all the way - go Roger go!!!
I must say that during his matches - Nadal's endless ball bouncing drives me a little nuts and that's gotta bug the other players. I saw him play in Toronto and the chair umpire gave him a warning and said he was takiung up too much time with his ball bouncing and he seemed to get a little ticked off at that. Haven't seen any ump take up the issue with him at the Open.

Awww, I still love Nole I have to say And I've never been able to take the US Open crowd seriously after they booed Patrick Rafter (of all people) off court just because he had to finish a match early due to injury. And this was after him winning two US Open titles....

He is an arrogant prick and definitely a faker. Plus, the behaviour he and his family exhibit is terribly smug and obnoxious 99% of the time. They were particularly bad at the Australian Open this year.
