Lindsay Davenport had a daughter, Lauren Andrus Davenport Leach, who was born Saturday June 27 at 11:04 am. Thanks for that! My mom and I were just wondering about that yesterday. Congrats to Lindsay. Anyone watching Wimbledon? I usually am all about watching the women, but the men's matches are what have me enthralled this year.

I've hated the WTA for the past three years. The only ladies match worth watching these past years was today's semifinal with Serena and Dementieva. ATP has the most well-played tennis these days.

I've just managed to get back online so haven't checked the scores yet. Pretender to the throne indeed.

The announcers called it "embarassing" and you could tell they were embarassed for her.

I thought Marat was a headcase. It's nice to see she's keeping up the family tradition.
Kudos to Dementieva for proving that there are players not named Williams who can actually play decent tennis.

Watching Men's semi-finals now. I hope Murray makes it to the finals over Roddick. If Murray wins it all, wouldn't he be the first Englishman in over 60 years to win Wimbledon?

I don't understand tennis or watch it much, but I would like to know why the men play tennis in relative silence and many of the women just shriek every time they hit the ball? And why is it allowed? I know that it hasn't always been that way.

He's not English. He's Scottish and I'm not just saying that because he lost today.
