I'm over Federer now. I would have loved him to go out in the first round. His hysterics would have made my day.

Alejandro Falla almost made my day. He was up two sets on Federer and was serving for the match but alas...he choked like no one has choked before. It would have been so awesome to see all the Fed nutcases faint in shock. And can we show anymore favoritism, Wimbledon? Fed's parents in the Royal box, when no one else ever has had their people in their? Puh-leeze. If that's the case, I expect to see Oracene and Richard when Venus plays. If not, cut it out. Aww, I don't think he choked. He played so well, he just couldn't compete on the same level. I want Roger to be in it. I always go for the underdog, but it's not fun unless they beat someone good.

Is anyone else watching the Isner/Mahut match? It's going on nine hours long! It's already the longest match in Wimbledon history, and there's no sign of either of them pulling ahead of the other. The scoreboard can't even fit the score anymore, and the fans are going crazy.
Isner's from a town near mine and my dad's tennis team played against him in high school. It's cool to see a hometown guy getting such attention!

She won't stop talking about the history of it all ... over and over and over. Shut up!

Isner is a fellow Dawg! Woof woof! The match was called at 59-59 in the 5th set, 10th hour. They'll start over tomorrow. Oh, vey! ETA: He won! 70-68! Terrific match!

Crazy! What an amazing display of stamina and heart by both players. It's a shame one of them had to lose. Nice article on the match.[/color]

My Wimbledon is done. Andy wanted it too much, reverted back to his pusher tactics and lost.

After last year's loss I was hoping that he could go all the way this year.

I never thought I'd say this, but I feel bad for Andy Roddick. I don't think he'll ever get another major. Hell, even Roger Federer appears to be declining (a lot faster than many people anticipated I might add); I just think that at his age, tennis is starting to pass him by. Which is sad, because while I sometimes hated him and he was not my favorite player, I always felt bad that faced and lost to Fed so many times. It's conceivable that he could have 3-4 majors if not for Roger.
