Ana took out Venus in straight sets. I don't know why I bother sometimes. So now we're down to Ana, Maria, Jelena and Daniela, IIRC.

Sometimes she's on fire, other times she stinks up the joint. But Ana better make good use of this win. If she goes out in the semifinal or final, I'm going to be more than upset.

I give up on the women every other week. I don't like any of the four women left, but I'm going to pulling for Daniela. The poor girl probably won't win, but this is the closest she'll probably ever be to a slam final.
I'm happy to the Williams women, Roddick, and Blake are out just to shut up Patrick McEnroe. He's so annoying. He'd root for a blind turtle in the tournament as long as it was American.

Wow, I'd love to see a Ana/Jelena final just to see them after match point. I wonder if it's true that they're both good friends with Novak (especially Ana apparently) but really can't stand each other. ;-)

Just sticking my nose in to say vamos Rafa!! Can't wait for the semis tonight (well, tomorrow morning here). Hope my Spanish and Swiss boyfriends wind up playing each other again.
And Nadal can take me to Mallorca anytime. ;D

I would wager to say Ana and Novak have a very good friendship given they are closer in age, grew up together, and how they act around each other. Their mothers however Snezana (Jelena) and Dragana (Ana), do not get along at all. In fact it's rumored Dragana can't stand Snezana. Although both Jelena and Ana are cordial to one another, I can also imagine some of the tensions would pass down to them.

And down goes Roger. This year's Aussie has been impossible to predict.
Allez Tsonga!!!

Boo!!!!
I love Federer, dammit. Oh well, I'll still be watching the men's final. I want to see the hype about this Tsonga guy. I think I'm the only person who hasn't seen the Nadal/Tsonga match yet.
I will be skipping the Ivanovich/Sharapova final. I can just hear the male commentators gushing and drooling now. Although I do think Ana is beautiful. Maria? Plain Jane.

Ana really is very beautiful. Maria is pretty too but in a slightly bland, forgettable way...Hard to say whom I'd like to see winning here as I like both I like Federer a lot but was rooting for Novak of course and I'm happy he got through. After seeing him playing so well all last year it'd make complete sense should he win the Australian Open. I hope he does.

Tsonga has such talent, he's just had injuries after injuries. I can't stand Federer so I'm so happy that Novak beat him.
