Woe is Mizzou! The Sooners looked pretty darn tough, though. I'm glad we got them early in the season, we wouldn't beat them now. Now it's Go Bucks! (And Go Common Sense! for a college play-off system because BCS = FUBAR.)

I went to the Lombardi Awards last night. Glenn Dorsey won. He was sitting next to Laurinaitis from Ohio. I was wondering if they were talking trash to each other. He was very nice and appreciative. Those guys are just so huge!

I'm feeling a bit of schadenfraude from coach after coach turning down the Michigan job. Slightly OT, but I took a French class last fall, so whenever I see "Les Miles" I hear it as "lay meel" in my head. At first I thought it might actually be a French nickname.

And after LSU plays the Buckeyes, he'll be Les Miserables.
Thank you. I'm here all week.
ETA: tcukris, did you see CU 'backer Jordon Dizon? In his native Hawaii he used to go into the bush to hunt wild boars for fun. With only a knife. Running backs = no problem after that.

I didn't see Dizon. At least I don't think I did. I probably wouldn't have recognized him.
The people that I recognized were Lloyd Carr, Les Miles, Glenn Dorsey, and James Laurinitis. Chris Long and Jake Long were also nominated, but I wouldn' t have recognized them otherwise.
Hunting wild boars with a knife doesn't sound like my idea of fun. Oddly enough, I was just talking about this very thing the other day.

I'm feeling a bit of schadenfraude from coach after coach turning down the Michigan job. I'm just glad that we're (Arkansas) not the only ones having issues with finding a new coach.

I'm feeling a bit of schadenfraude from coach after coach turning down the Michigan job. Yes, I can't believe they're actually serious about Iowa coach, Kirk Ferenz now. It could be he's just having a few bad seasons, but I don't think I would hire him if I wanted a turnaround for my program especially since he can never seem to beat Iowa's rival, Iowa State. Plus, he's going to cost a lot of money, a lot more than I think he would be worth as coach. I can't actually believe he's one of the highest paid coaches. Of course, as a Buckeye fan, I hope they do hire him because he doesn't seem that impressive to me, his team can never beat their rival team, and he's way overpaid. Seriously though, I think Michigan should take a different approach instead of going after a head coach of an established program at a Division I-A school, and go after a coach of a smaller division school or defensive or offensive coordinator somewhere. Hey it worked for us. I wonder if the coach of Appalachian State would be interested. Oh, I hope so. I'm really scared though, which I guess is better than last year where I, and probably a majority of Buckeye fans were pretty convinced that we would win easily. So I guess if there is a repeat, at least I'll be a little prepared. I think it's better at least in theory that we're the big underdogs this year, especially since we were the big underdog in the Alamo Bowl against another Miles's team, and we ended up dominating that game. I have to stop myself before I get too built up on why we have a great chance to win though, otherwise it might be like last year all over again.

And I am going to approach the other side of the stadium in the same way! No predictions, no shoulds or cans, no expectations!

I almost feel sorry for the Sooners. Almost. Bwahahahahaha!!! Almost as much fun as seeing them go down to Boise State, a team that plays on a blue field, in the last postseason. Sorry, OU fans. Maybe I'll get over my Switzer-holdover-hate next year, Stoops doesn't seem like Psychocoach, but not now. Now it's Boomerlicious.
Shout out to my Buffs for letting 'Bama get 27 points up and then fighting back.
And...go Bucks!!! Beat the SEC Jinx!

I love to see OU loose. Though, I am a Texas fan. The major bowls haven't been that interesting so far, IMO.
The day after USC won they were saying they should split the title. I know the press loves USC and they have a lot of fans, but they aren't playing in the national championship game. IMO, the team that wins that game is the champion. If people want to put them as #2, I have no problem with that, but I don't think they should be voted #1.
I hope LSU wins, but I would like the game to be more even and exciting.
At least TCU won. Yea Frogs!
