Y'all should at least watch the start of the CU v CSU football game Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Something Time. They always show real nice shots of Boulder and surroundings, and they will run Ralphie the buffalo mascot before kick-off. There's always the chance that one of these days Ralphie will say, "You know what, screw this, I'm gonna trample someone."

Only because the Buckeyes softened them up! (Yes, I live in a dream world...great win for the Huskies.)

Okay, this is not so much about football as the broadcasting thereof:
Am I the only one who thinks Brent Musburger should be retired--involuntarily, if necessary? He's biased and mean.

Man, Tebow was crying like a baby tonight. I never thought that I would say this but I felt sorry for him.

Does anyone know if Tebow has decided to go to the NFL? There is healthy debate across the board whether he can make it in the pros. Thoughts, feelings?
ETA: Well done FSU and congrats to Coach Bowden, we'll miss you dangummit!

Go Boise State! The pro Broncos took a nose-dive in the second half of the season (AGAIN!!!) but the college Broncos never quit. Once again the guys who play on the Smurf field took the role of giant-killer in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, a couple of years after the Fiesta Bowl where they took down Okla-freakin-homa in overtime on a last minute Statue of Liberty play (IMO the best college football game ever played).
Also, doesn't Tostitos Fiesta Bowl sound a whole lot more fun that the Meineke Car Care Bowl or the Jonhnson & Johnson Ostomy Supplies Bowl?

Major ditto. And yeah, I'm also waiting for Ralphie to go postal. Bevo, too. So happy for the Cyclones with their (admittedly shoestring) win over Minnesota. Take that, Gene Chizik!
