As a SEC grad, I don't know how I feel about any school joining our conference. We have developed some well-deserved hate for our rivals, and I can't see mustering that same hate for Texas A&M. But we will try if they decided to join us.
As for USC, bwahahahahaha! Sorry, I hate that the kids will be punished for the mistakes of Carroll & his crew, but Kiffin screwed over all those TN recruits to bolt for greener pastures. Enjoy your time in Cali, you arrogant prick!

But we will try if they decided to join us. The Aggies will make it easy for you. Trust me. [/hook'em] From what I'm hearing around here, the SEC is far more interested in a package deal including Texas, but it looks like Texas has all but committed to Pac-10. We're all waiting to see what will happen with A&M and Baylor--they may just have to stay with whoever's left from the Big 12...

Regarding Kiffin and USC: hahahahahahahahahahaha. Again, hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. That is karma for you, asshole. You screwed Tennessee, and this is what you get. Honestly, it was a blessing in disguise that Kiffin bolted, because I truly think that he would have ran the program into the ground. I would love to have Texas join the SEC, that would be some kick ass games. But then Diva and I would be at odds, oh noez!

No Pac-10 for Texas A&M according to my Dawgwire newsfeed. So either the Big 12 conference has been saved or Texas A&M is coming to the SEC. Will update as I get information. ETA: ESPN

ETA: ESPN
The Austin American-Statesman is reporting that Texas and the remaining members of the Big 12 will stay in the Big 12. Now everyone's wondering if other teams (TCU? LSU?) will be invited to replace Nebraska and Colorado. I, for one, will miss Colorado. Nebraska, not so much. ETA: Here's today's front page article--the decision to stay with the Big 12 came down to television rights.

So Lane Kiffin & USC are getting sued for coach poaching? Bwahahaha!
How do you Buckeyes feel about getting Maurice Clarett back? Is he eligible to play right away?

I must say that I am really into college football this season. Usually I overdose on Bowl games over Christmas(the Humanitarian Bowl was one of the best games I ever watched last year) but last Saturday's LSU/UNC game was great and the Michigan/Notre Dame is quite enjoyable. Next up 'Bama/Penn St.
