I would like to go on record as saying that Tennessee's Derek Dooley is the hottest head coach in college football. He pretty.

It was not a good day for either of the UTs yesterday, was it, Diva?

Word. It was not a good day for either of the UTs yesterday, was it, Diva? Not at all, and made worse for me by the fact that the 'Horns fans are acting like a bunch of spoiled brats over what is essentially an inexperienced, injury-ridden team. Settle down, people--even Alabama has down years. Just be glad it's not USC at the top of the pile, and STFU!

I think everyone but Longhorn fans knew they were going to not have a great year.

Oh, this Longhorn fan knew. I told my husband before the season started that it would be nice to not have to worry about taking time off right at the start of the new year to attend a BCS bowl game. He was not amused.

I just can't stop thinking about Eric LeGrand. I'm not a Rutgers fan or even a big college football fan, but his injury has really affected me. Maybe it's because in most of the pieces I've read about him, the fact that he's a talented athlete seems to take a back seat to the fact that he's an all-around good guy. My prayers are with him and his family.

Missouri Tigers: 7-0 for the first time in 50 years. Thanks for playing, OU!

All those kids rushing the field was crazy! I told MrB, "I know that Sunny is cheering right now!"

We haven't beaten OU since 1998, and the time before that, I was a kid and remember my mother almost driving off the road when we won, so it's always a "rip down the goalposts" event when we do manage to pull it off. OU handed us a 77-0 shellacking back in 1986, during the Barry Switzer years (while I was a student), so this makes the victory even sweeter.
