Florida hires Texas defensive coordinator Will Muschamp as head coachMy kids go to the same school that the Muschamp kids attend, and his wife had made it pretty clear that they weren't going anywhere for a while--in fact, Muschamp's latest contract renewal included a promise that he would follow Mack Brown as Texas' head coach when Mack retires. We're just stunned around here...

Yay for the Buckeyes finally getting the SEC monkey off their back!
Good luck next season, with half the team (okay, 5 players) suspended for the first 5 games. I hope your back-up QB got some snaps.

I haven't kept up with the football program at Ohio State since I moved to Colorado in 1991 so I don't have an opinion. I watch The Michigan Game, and when they make it to a bowl, so I have something to talk to Buckeye friends about.

Okay the poisoning of the tree in Auburn was just dreadful. It's one thing to hate your state rival but come on. They better keep an eye on that Bear Bryant statue..

I've been waiting YEARS for the CU Buffaloes O-line to mature and gel. This was the breakout year, with an experienced QB taking snaps. Until the starting center left the team for personal reasons. And the highest-rated guy on the line went out with an injury. Why do you hate me, Football God, why???
UPDATE: Hi, Duke, Football God here. I don't appreciate what you said. You don't mess with the Football God. Just for that, in addition to losing your starting center and your starting left tackle, I just broke your starting right tackle's leg. Now all you got is freshmen and sophs. Enjoy the season.
