I hate Bama & LSU, but I am one happy camper tonight. If the BCS hadn't engineered (re: stolen) Oklahoma State's rightful place in the bowl (like they did to UGA a few years back), they wouldn't be sitting there right now trying to figure out how to justify declaring LSU the #1 team tomorrow. Or will they? Bama beat them, but Bama is also 13-1. Oh, I love it. Hopefully, this will push the NCAA to remove their heads from the BCS' ass and push a playoff system to determine the true champion. Oh, well...SEC rules again!

No talk of the greatest college football game ever played last night? The Iron Bowl! Holy Shit!

Never mind that -- Mizzou beat the Aggies! (Seriously, the Iron Bowl was one amazing game.)

No talk of the greatest college football game ever played last night? The Iron Bowl! Holy Shit! It was mentioned in the FB thread here... briefly... but yes, amazing, and as an Auburn alum/fan I'm still on cloud nine today (and hoarse from yelling!). But all of the AU/Bama fighting on my news feed today is getting really old. And I feel bad for poor Cade Foster, getting death threats! Geez, people!

I told MrB last night that he would get death threats and he poo poo'd me. Sure enough this morning he was surfing the net and admitted that I was right. I went out before the game and everyone everywhere was wearing either Auburn or AL regalia. I was rooting for Auburn because I work with the most obnoxious Crimson Tide fan who would not even entertain the thought that they would lose to Auburn. My other co-worker and I are wearing blue and orange tomorrow just to needle her.

I just read a 500 word FB post about all the reasons this Alabama fan friend of mine is mad about the game. I can't wait to listen to Finebaum tomorrow and hear the Alabama callers meltdown. (Yes, I am an Auburn fan and am so happy that we won.)

We watched the game at a bar filled with UGA/Auburn/GT/Bama fans. Everyone was rooting for Auburn. We were sitting there explaining why the one guy was waiting in the endzone when all hell broke loose. People were high-fiving the Auburn fans, while the few Bama fans sat in shock over the TD. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Best night of college football in a long while.
Sunny, congrats on the SEC East title!

I re-affirm my belief in the Sports Illustrated Curse. Last week's cover boy? One AJ McCarron.

Rumor has it. Saban is leaving Tuscaloosa for Texas. If true, the man is an opportunist and this is the surest sign Alabama's reign is over.

I don't believe the rumors, but if Alabama's OC leaves to take the Washington job, I might change my mind. It will be interesting to see if/when Texas gets rid of Brown after their game on Saturday.
Pete Thamel of SI wrote this week that a source told him that Texas is Malzahn's dream job and that he should go to Texas. I tend to believe that Jimmy Sexton (Malzahn and Saban's agent) is playing Thamel so that Gus gets even more of a raise when his contract is renegotiated after the season.
