This reminds me... I've always had a fascination with the thought of Paris Hilton hitting 30, let alone 40 or 50. Now that will be entertaining.

I believe a woman can be quite stylish into her 50's and beyond. Madonna's clothes as of late have been unflattering and strange. Like the article implied she's simply lost. She's never had a strong sense of self which is why her style changes all the time. She just adopts what's hip at the time, but she can't do that anymore because she's too old to dress like the young singers of today. Its hell aging as a woman in music. Well, actually its hard for a anyone to age in music who is all image. If a person has real talent like the ability to actually sing, write a song, compose, act, direct, or produce then they will have a very long career. Unfortunately for Madonna she's just brilliant at using sexual imagery to manipulate the media.

Its a bit unfair for women though. Mick Jagger can still run around in tight pants and no one gives him grief. (Though frankly I think he looks ridiculous.) But in his defense he not hooking up with Justin Timberlake to make a record either. He's knows his audience. Madonna keeps striving to get the 20 somethings. She needs to move beyond them. They need to have their own idols.

Jackie O and Audrey Hepburn were still stylish into their 50s and 60s. Of course, they belong to a completely different category than Madonna, I guess.

She looked nice in that youtube clip with the suit and her hair done nicely. I don't understand why she just doesn't dress like that now.
