Google-fu tells me that he started out at Central Saint Martins and transferred to the Royal Drawing School. I've never heard of either so can't comment on how rigorous they are.

I'm an American, but I recognize Central Saint Martins as having a well-known fashion design school. Weren't Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen alums? That seems like a great university at which to study the arts.

I haven't heard of the Royal Drawing School, however.

Wasn’t there a time that Rocco refused to return to visit/live with Madonna in NYC? The vibes I get from that photo with her aren’t great.

I can’t believe Rocco is 23. I remember him in his baptism bunny ears! Also, he’s the spitting image of his dad, wow. From what I’ve seen of pap photos of Rocco, the kid wants to live in London and live out his dad’s directorial dreams (London gangster stories/clothing).

Rocco joined her onstage during the Europe leg of the tour. I want to say in Stockholm.

I just saw Madonna this past weekend with a big group / friend reunion. We spent much of our weekend watching her music videos and award show performances, talking about who had last been to which concert, and catching up on Madonna gossip. The Rocco relationship was definitely strained; the dearly departed DListed had some great posts about Guy Ritchie and his “no rules / mom sucks” parenting technique of letting teenaged Rocco do whatever he wanted in London while Madonna was the enforcer. It seems she and Rocco are on better terms lately.

And the concert was so great! We had tickets in the rafters but could still see everything. She did come out late (10:30) but we knew she would.

That makes sense. Getting to stay with Disneyland dad vs mom who makes sure you do your homework and clean your room? A lot of kids will pick dad.

She does seem to be a devoted parent, and the kids are OK at this point.
