I don't recall ever seeing flashbacks about Farley and April. There haven't been any flashbacks about Liz either, not ones that focused on her anyway. They have all been about Michael the brat or John the jerk. Heee! Yes, little Liz is usually in the background making disgusting digestive noises. Some things never change...

Iris is back already? Huh? Did she just go to visit her son for an hour?

Well, we all know there's nothing worth seeing outside Milborough. Iris probably just waved at her son from the plane and went right back home.

"The feeling is mucilage"? I'm sorry - that is, bar none, the absolute fucking worst final panel pun I've ever seen, and that's really saying something with this strip.

I had to look up mucilage. Ditto. And the stupid pun still makes no damn sense.

I had to look it up too, though I knew it sounded too close to mucus to be pleasant.

I refuse to look it up. Harumph! And I agree - it's the worst foob pun ever, and that's saying something. It's like Lynn came across mucilage on her Word of the Day calendar and thought, "I should use that in FOOB sometime." Sort of like her lame fax pun, 10 years after the fax was at its peak of popularity.
I suspect many of Lynn's readers - based on the level of spelling, grammar and thought processes at Coffee Talk - will be completely confuzzled.
