Considering Lynn's track record, I just assumed it was a pun on "Metamucil". Seriously.
I can't believe Lynn's resorting to using puns that don't even make sense-even puns that *do* make sense are annoying.

LJ definitely seems to be reading this board. The way Elly was singing Iris's praises this morning was something else.

Elly's such a saint. "Gee, John, you wouldn't believe how hard it is to take care of my dad! I had a really exhausting half hour, I'll tell you that."

Yeah, Elly didn't talk about Iris's hardships until she had to do the job herself, which may be understandable, but coming from Elly the Martyr you just figure it's a roundabout way of fishing for compliments. See, I'm finding conspiracies within the lives of fictional comic strip characters. Kill me now.

LJ definitely seems to be reading this board. The way Elly was singing Iris's praises this morning was something else. Definitely, as is today's strip where John thoughtbubbles that the wedding is costing him a bundle. Yes, I really believe that with the free wedding dress, free flowers, free suits, etc., . Nice trying to retcon all that stuff. Not that weddings aren't expensive even if someone did manage to score all that free stuff, but it's unrealistic that people would just give away goods like that if they weren't getting something in return like say a mention on The View. Also, if it would have been a quiet, quickly put together wedding just so Jim could see his granddaughter get married, there would be no need to have the wedding cost so much that even with getting a lot of free stuff. Mostly though I doubt LJ would have even drawn this strip if she weren't always trying to point to the naysayers like "see you guys are all wrong. Liz and Anthony really do spend time together. Elly does visit her dad. The wedding is still going to be a lot. Nyah, nyah." ETA: I forgot that yesterday I found out from the Foobiverse that Anthony and Therese (sp?) also got married on August 23rd. I think Lynn is just really bad at planning things and not an intentional diss to the first marriage. Either way though, it just goes to show how bad her strip has gotten.

Saints preserve us, the official biography of Sir Anthonty Caine is coming to a FOOB website near you! For now, we will have to settle for [blue]excerpts[/blue]. Just like Therese! Only, not. But wait, Anthony is even more pathetic than that - and, hence, loveable!!

"See! Anthony is SO pathetic you must love him! Liz is the only thing in the universe that gives his life meaning! You may be able to hate on an abandoned husband, but nobody can hate an abandoned child!!!"
Lynn, give up. You're just digging yourself deeper.

Is Lynn really going to slow down time that much in the lead-up to the wedding, or is John being told that he can pick the tux up tomorrow and keep it for the better part of a month before the big day? Anthony's uncle must have a huuuuuuuuuuuuge inventory.

Anthony's bio sounds like it was written by Michael.

I thought the same thing, Sunnyhorse. Most times, the tuxes are picked up the day before and returned the day after. Now, if April had told her dad that he could go and get measured for his tux, that would have made sense.
