I think the pilot that'll air tonight might be slightly different than the leaked pilot, but I agree, it shows promise. I can't base everything on a pilot. I'd give it at least a months worth of episodes to at least feel like I've given it a shot.

Wow! loved pretty much everything about this.
Please tell me that Mark Valley will be back. He's one of the main reasons I tuned in!
Lead actress is great (forget her name), reminds me of a mix of Cate Blanchett, Poppy Montgomery and Peta Wilson. She's got such gorgeous green eyes.
The older scientist was also fantastic. What a face! I was watching in HD. Those wrinkles even have wrinkles.
Blair Brown threw me for a loop. God she's gotten old and has she never heard of teeth whitener?! HD is not everyone's friend.
ETA: loved the text being integrated into the scenes. Very cool effect!

Dr. Crazy looked familiar to me and I couldn't place it, I looked it up on IMDb and turns out he played Denethor in Return of the King. So it seems haggard and crazy is his thing, a thing which he does awesomely though.

I've seen the pilot and I quite enjoyed it. Add to the fact that Joshua Jackson is my original TV boyfriend and looks absolutely smoking and it's a recipe for regular viewing for me. What a coincidence! He was also my original TV boyfriend! I was never really into the X-files when it was on, but I think it was because I was so young. From what I've seen of the pilot, I think I'll keep watching and see how it shapes out. And it does help that Joshua Jackson is so easy on the eyes.

Woah! Loved it! I wasn't sure at first, but the awesome "brain transfer" scene did it for me. Josh Jackson was great, and I wasn't even a fan to begin with. I'd never seen Anna Torv in anything, but I really like her so far. And I absolutely adore her voice! Is Mark Valley the dude from Boston Legal? He looked familiar to me. I had a feeling something was up with the FBI boyfriend, but I was still surprised when he turned out to be bad. That other dude, the one who kept calling Dunham "Liaison" - woah, creepy! I'm so intrigued now. And I liked Crazy Pa and Dunham's assistant hanging out with the cow.

I'm on the West Coast and still in the process of watching, but this "dangerous experiment where the pretty lead lady gets a dangerous drug cocktail from a crazy scientist so that he can mess with her dreams" is straight out of an episode of Alias. Is it a bad sign when JJ Abrams is ripping off his own show for his new show?

Argh! I forgot this came on tonight! Oh well, I'm sure the ep will soon be floating out in cyberspace.
He's been kinda doing this for awhile. Cloverfield had some Alias elements and Mission Impossible III was basically Alias: The Movie. I got some odd looks from theater goers over my laughing at the Alias ripoffs allusions. I guess that's what happens when you always work with the same people to create tv shows and movies.

Angelaudie, besides probably being on the FOX site in the next day or two, they're repeating it on Sunday night.
