He is relevant because he is played by Alexander Skarsgard, the hottest piece of Scandinavian ass to appear since... er... Anyway... other than that, no idea.  |

I actually think he's kind of attractive in the "nerdy and bad" picture. But then I dig the nerds.
Plotwise? Eric is another guy in love with Sookie.

Oh, Eureka, you must see him in motion. Please check out Generation Kill on HBO, where he played a US Marine (and I guess, from what I've read, he actually took time off from the acting biz and served in the Swedish military....H-O-T). The man is sex on a stick. And he's actually quite a good actor.
