Still not liking the name Seraphina.

I like the name. It's unusual without being completely out there. But then again I'm partial to unusual names.

I ate at a place called Serafina. It was lovely. I liked the name then and now, but not for that sibset/family. If they just went with Rose or Elizabeth or something it would be different.

I love that they named their baby Seraphina. Could it have to do with Ben's involvement in Africa? The only people that I have known to have that name were in some way of African descent (Afro-Caribbean specifically). I like the name and I wish their family much happiness.

I don't think it's a terrible name altogether, but I don't think Seraphina sounds like a sibling of Violet. Maybe they'll call her Serah (Sarah)... that would make it a better sibset, I think.

I know a Seraphina. Her mother's name is Angel so she is Seraphina "Little Angel".

Oh man, I love the name Seraphina. I'm not sure how well it goes with "Affleck," but on the whole I like it. It's old-fashioned in a good way. I love that they named their baby Seraphina. Could it have to do with Ben's involvement in Africa? The only people that I have known to have that name were in some way of African descent (Afro-Caribbean specifically). For whatever this is worth, in the Mystery Science Theater movie Girls Town - set in 1950s Catholic land - there was a Serafina.
