I would have thought she'd want to keep out of the sun to preserve her skin and her complexion.

At the time that vid came out almost 2 years ago I thought she staged it and it wasn't 100% candid. But whatever - it doesn't matter. I'm so over it. Hardly anyone paid that much attention the first time this video came out. And now it's come out yet again and suddenly after two years Janet's lawyers supposedly want to sue pushing the tape back into the public eye as a result of the threatened lawsuit part of the "controvesy". Things that make you go hmmmm?

The stunning allegation came from Young DeBarge, whose brother James DeBarge was briefly married to Jackson, now 39, in the 1980s.

During an interview on Hot 97, Young said the busty star and his brother — a former member of another Motown family act — are the parents of "Renee," a daughter sent away in shame to live with the eldest of the famous Jackson siblings, Rebbie.

We've all known this for years. It's just a shame that Janet won't just claim her child after all these years. She's almost 40..it's not going to "ruin her image" if she makes it public she's a mother.

But Janet for whatever odd reasons keep her marriage to DeBarge in the 80's and then her marriage to Rene which lasted 10 years almost..secret. She probably still thinks she'd rather deny the child.

That said I wouldn't be surprised if the rumor that her and JD got secretly married sometime during the Michael Jackson trial were true.

I don't why she thinks all these secret marriages and children make her more "mysterious". It just makes her seem dysfunctional and strange.

I hope the girl knows who her mother is. It would be sad and kind of fucked up if they have brought this girl up telling her her aunt is her mom.

I have a lot of respect for celebs who keep their family and personal relationships private and don't pimp it all out to the press for publicity but I think Janet is on some opposite extreme. Michael seemed to think it was a good idea to plant rumors and get the press speculating on how weird he is to create an "eccentric" image and it backfired. Now he's known as a freak. Janet seems to think she's interesting as long as people are constantly speculating over whether she's married. She's been married a few times now and she's older so it's getting kind of tired.

As for the DeBarge brother that blabbed on radio he must have balls to have openingly just confirmed it.

I don't know about anybody else but my estimation of Janet would increase 100 fold if she claimed her daughter and announced to the world that it's true and her and Jermaine Dupri had made is official and were lawfully wed man and wife.

I just hate this Jackson creepy covenant of secrecy. Those people just freak me out...they are like a Cult.

It's odious of Janet, but then she didn't have good role models. There is a massive culture of secrecy in that family.
