Crazy or her husband made it clear he wasn't going to financially take care of her siblings. Ding ding ding. We have a winner. I'm guessing Janet is like I'm not paying for it out of my pocket, so I might as well go along with this plot to essentially steal money from my niece and nephews. Moochers just create drama and mess. |

If her husband (very rationally) declines to support her grifter siblings, I think the non-crazy options include telling the siblings to go pound sand. Not among them is joining a plot to spirit an elderly woman across state lines so that she can foist the grifters on those poor kids. |

Yes, I do think she's crazy, thought she was a weirdo all the way back in the 1990s. But I still think her part in that whole fiasco was her way of helping her siblings while making sure they're not hitting up her husband for cash. I don't know, it was all very strange.

Why does she always hide her weddings from the world? I'm all for privacy but does anyone really care if Janet Jackson gets married? Or is this just the typical Jackson family persecution complex stuff?

I suspect she is hiding it from her family more than the rest of the world. Who would want any of them at the wedding.

But if she has a healthy aversion to her blood-sucking family, why did she participate the Granny are you OK debacle? That's a lot to do just to get them off your back. If she's strong enough to essentially lie to her family about intimate details of her life, why can't she say fuck off when they come to her for money?
Maybe she's just weird.

Janet has always been secretive about her marriages. I'm not sure her "grifter siblings" have to do with it.

Janet has always been closer to Randy than any of the rest. I suspect he convinced her that Granny was being abused, and so she charged right in.
