So, is everybody over this pile of garbage or what? Usually there's two days of a discussion after a new episode.
This show is now like an hour of being hit repeatedly with a frying pan. The lunch lady thing is ridiculous. The only part of this show that wasn't completely phony and terrible was Mike O'Malley's scene, and it just made me wish he were on a better show.

I know I am. After I watched it I thought "I just need to accept that I hate this show." I keep hoping it will somehow magically improve, but it won't.
I don't give a shit about Rachel and her drunk dance teacher. I wanted to punch Will in his stupid face when he burst through the door and squealed "Glee!!!!!!" like a jackass. I'm completely over Sue's shtick and I don't give a shit about her baby. I hate that the kids still in high school are stuck in an endless after-school special where no one acts like a real teenager and everything that happens is a Very Important Lesson. I hate that "New Rachel" is so saintly and we get to learn life lessons from her because she's poor and her mother is overweight, especially since Ryan Murphy loves to tell us not to pick on fat people in one breath and then makes fun of them in the next.
I agree that the only enjoyable scene was between Kurt and Burt. But overall I just hated it and I need to stop wasting my time on it. Especially since I know Kurt is about to fall ass-backwards into a job many people would kill for, and that's just going to drive me nuts.

I gave up with about two episodes to go last year, and from everything I've read I totally made the right choice.
I was talking about it with a coworker yesterday and said that they should have made "senior year" two years, graduated the chararacters in four seasons and either ended the show, or moved the show to a new school with a new glee club.

I never watched last season (unless there was a specific episode scene I had to check out by recommendation!), only stuck around for the music.
This year? I'm totally over it. No show, no music, no mas.

I was over this show last season. I have also made a rule to never watch a Ryan Murphy show ever again. It's inevitable that after a good first season, then he will be distracted by something new and shiny and the show will crash and burn. It's his MO.

Unless this shows up on free Hulu, I guess I'm not watching it anymore.

Same here, barely watched it last season and can't bring myself to torture myself with it this season. Towards the end I was only sticking around for the music but even that sucked.

We have the premiere on the DVR but still haven't gotten around to watching it... and probably never will. I read the Entertainment Weekly recap and all I could think was "Yet another anti-bullying storyline? REALLY?!" Okay, bullying's in the news right now but are the show's writers aware that high school involves anything else?

Like casting NeNe Leakes in his new show "The New Normal"? I wanted to be supportive of a show that promotes families that aren't the same "cookie cutter" ones that are on the air right now, but since it's Murphy, I think I'll pass.

Yeah. I stopped watching last year with like, one or two episodes to go. I saw all the rage online over that one guy's suicide attempt and how it was portrayed, and I knew I shouldn't even bother. I think the last ep I watched was that crappy Christmas episode where Rachel is all pro-Christmas and they sing that stupid song to all the homeless people.
