Princess Caroline (Monaco/Hanover)

Princess Caroline is pregnant again. At age 49! According to one article, it's an attempt to save her marriage to Ernst-August of Hanover. It will be their second child and her 5th overall. Her oldest is 21, her youngest is 6.

She is reportedly six months pregnant. You can see a photo of her if you go to this site, click on the top photo in the left hand column of thumbnail photos, and wait for a few seconds.

Whoa! 49? I am just stunned. What is she thinking? Maybe it was an oops, because surely she is too bright to think that a baby would save a marriage.

I agree with you, babies rarely save marriages but I think nothing could ever (EVER) save a marriage to Ernst-August. That lout beats up people with brass knuckles, pees in public, and is a big time alcoholic who continues to drink even though it put him in a coma and almost killed him.

I really hope the child is born healthy but I must confess to some Schadenfreude where Caroline's marriage is concerned. She slept with Ernst-August even though he was her best friend's husband at the time, got pregnant and forced the end of her friend's marriage to save her Catholic <koff> conscience. She also wanted the bump up to an HRH from an SRH.

She's a real piece of work, imo, and you'd be hard pressed to find someone more arrogantly sanctimonious or hypocritical. She's said publicly nasty things about both her siblings, even though she's the last person to talk, because she thinks she's fooled everyone with her saintly, holier-than-thou, regal act. Can't stand her. Ugh.

The Palace hasn't denied the story either. And have you seen the photo? Without that, I might doubt it but she's got a huge belly. Huge.

Amen to your whole post. She is the epitome of hypocritical. She bitched and whined about Stephanie having a baby out of wedlock, while she couldn't even respect her friend's marriage. She ain't nothing but a dirty skank trying to pass off for high class.

The photo I posted seems to have been replaced by newer ones of other people but I found another photo of Caroline on one of the royal gossip boards. It's from a slightly different angle and doesn't show the size of the bump as well as the other one, but she still looks pregnant to me. Since Caroline is normally very thin all over, I don't think that's merely a flabby tummy. She was also shown holding her stomach protectively in all the photos.

The photos were apparently taken recently on her vacation to Thailand (or somewhere around there) with Ernst-August. As for the fact that the Palace hasn't confirmed the pregnancy, people are saying on other boards that the Palace has never confirmed any of Caroline's pregnancies in the past.

BTW, I don't know how long that link will last but it should work for a day or so at least.

ETA: Ooops, the whole photo is showing up in the message. I don't know how that happened or how to fix it since I followed the regular URL procedure.
