Anyone catch the premiere of this show last night?
I really liked it. I totally bought Juliana Margulies as a lawyer; completely erased any "hey, that's Carol Hathaway!" thoughts. I also liked how the case redemption was completely plausible and not some random magical resolution that only Juliana (don't remember the character's name yet) thought of. Yes, she had her ex's hint, but the actual case win came from her own discovery.
It was also interesting how she defended her notion to stand by her man, even as she admitted thinking - when she other political wives do the same - that she would never do that.
Chris Noth seems born to play a slimey crooked politician.

Oh man I thought this was B-O-R-I-N-G! I will never watch it again. It is now just gonna be a run-of-the-mill attorney show.

I was quite surprised that I liked it. I'll watch it again. I really like Archie Panjabi who plays Kalinda - I didn't realize she had been cast in the show. She was amazing in The Constant Gardener, Bend it like Beckham and A Mighty Heart. I know Ridley Scott is a huge fan of hers - that is why he cast her In A Good Year and his company produced the show.

I just caught it on a repeat last night and really enjoyed it as well. I'll be watching again.

I only watched the pilot because I knew Archie Panjabi is in this. It was OK but nothing too special IMO. I think I'll give it a shot.

Anyone still watching? This show is on my 'not to be missed' list this year. This week's episode had a bit of a twist and I didn't see it coming. Juliana Margulies should be prepping an Emmy speech.

I love this show; it's different than I expected it to be in that I thought it would be more focused on the scandal but I enjoy it anyways. I love Julianna and Archie. I was glad to see it get picked up for the full season.

I like this show. Yeah, it's another lawyer show, but Juliana's good and so is the writing. I have to wonder--when it finally ends, will she have gotten her husband cleared of his charges., (He claims he's innocent.) And then will she tell him bye-bye?

Has this show gotten any better or is it still just a "feel-good" legal drama?

Has this show gotten any better or is it still just a "feel-good" legal drama? I still like it. Its well written and well acted. Can't ask for much more. Kind of reminds me of "The Guardian" in a way.
