Yeah, this is primarily another lawyer show, but I like it. I enjoyed the scene last week where she scheduled the conjugal visit with her hubs so she could talk to him in private and made him sleep on the floor. He didn't seem to care--just wanted to have a shower in private.

I loved that they showed her lying on the bed with a towel covering the pillow and using her coat as a blanket. I could totally relate.

I like this show a lot; it has a great cast and interesting cases. I'm also glad her name is Alicia instead of the usual Kate or Abby. Does the show have a Jack? All shows seem to have one.
That said, I am getting tired of her winning every. single. time. And it's always the result of uncovering some tiny detail that they can slip into the trial as a big aha!

I was so disappointed hot, new lawyer guy wasn't a lawyer at all. I'd have jumped his bones out of spite. Silly girl!

He reminded me of Sawyer from Lost.

No home-based plots really, except for the pouty daughter eavesdropping on her mother's phone conversation. Not sure why she was so mopey or shocked about it, since she basically heard, "If things had gone differently in college, blahblahblah." Ancient history that didn't even happen. I don't think Alicia said anything that implied current possible foolery, did she?
Good case, but I am getting tired of Kalinda being able to go anywhere, snoop anywhere and always get the evidence she needs that is still allowed to be used. How is that legal?
Was surprised that Diane and the Gun Guy did the nasty, or maybe I wasn't. She sure wanted to.
The case was heartbreaking in the end, knowing that an innocent woman is going to prison for 10 years out of fear of a lengthier sentence. Interesting to see the jury's discussions juxtaposed with the evidence being presented, and how they interpreted it.

Another good episode though maybe not as great as the two before this one. I was suprised to see quite a few people over at Twop posting that they're completely convinced that Kalinda and Peter did not have sex but that she helped him cover up another affair. Then again, most people over there are Kalinda fans who worship her and don't want to believe that she would ever do such a thing. Others are saying that she probably didn't know he was married. Huh. I don't mind Kalinda but I think this season has done a good job showing her other, crazier side (the way she smashed Blake's window and hit him with a baseball bat??). I don't doubt for a second that she would sleep with a married man. Doesn't mean she's not regretting it but I think back then she didn't think twice about it.
ETA: Plus, the writers pretty much confirmed that Peter and Kalinda did indeed sleep together and hinted at what will come of this little reveal.

Yeah, I don't really understand the denial over at TWoP. All signs point to a one night stand. And come on - I love Kalinda too. I think she's awesome. But she is also promiscuous and uses sex as currency. She would totally sleep with someone like Peter if she thought she could get something out of it, or because she just wanted to. She didn't know Alicia back then, and I doubt she even thought of Peter's wife when it was going on.
I will be bummed to see her friendship with Alicia damaged, but honestly, if this is what finally torpedoes the marriage I will be happy.
Eli was awesome last night. I love that his daughter is a pain in the ass. That's totally what he deserves. And I thought he and America Ferrera had surprisingly good chemistry. I was kinda bummed to see her go. I hope they find a way to keep Eli around after the election. Alan Cumming is a gem.
And finally, I loved Cary working with Will. I like Cary so much better when he doesn't have a giant chip on his shoulder.
Oh, and Diane rocks. Just in general.

I really like Archie Panjabi and I think she is mostly excellent as Kalinda but I was hoping that part of her secret past would be that she grew up in England. Her American accent has been shaky lately.
Everyone on the show with the exception of Alicia is morally gray, I can totally believe Kalinda would have sex with Peter knowing he was married if she had an ulterior motive. I actually like the theory she was an escort when she slept with him.
That was Gabby Hoffman as the murder victim's daughter. This is kind of mean but man did she turn out fugly.
