They are negotiating for a Good Wife spinoff focusing on Diane Lockhart. On one hand she was my favorite character by the end of the show and I hated the way her storyline ended. The slap was satisfying but I hated everything leading up to that. So it would be nice to see a continuation of her story that wasn't tied to Alicia's. Plus Christine Baranski has been a scene stealer for decades. Its about time she got to be the leading lady. On the other hand, TGW seemed to run out of gas in the last couple of seasons. If the spinoff happens I hope its with fresh writers. Also its going to be on CBS All Access, not CBS proper. I'm not sure exactly what that is. VOD? But I'm sure as a Canadian I won't be able to watch it.

I hope it happens, if only because Christine Baranski needs to be on my TV at all times!

It isn't that expensive here in the US (I think it is around $5 per month), but I watch absolutely no other CBS show, so I hope it eventually shows up on Amazon or Hulu.

Did anyone watch The Good Fight?
I forgot about it (and that we have access to the CBS app). I'm a few episodes in and loving it so far. It reminds me more of the early seasons, before it went off the rails with Alicia's drama.

It reminds me more of the early seasons, before it went off the rails with Alicia's drama. I finally began watching it this past week. I love it! Except for that I just started the third season and am chafing at the tediousness of Michael Sheen’s character. It reminds me of how Jason O’Mara’s character was equally unnecessary and irritating. I’ve started to tune out Sheen like I did O’Mara. Everyone else probably loves this character and it’s just me, but I would have likely beaten the shit out of him if I were Maia.

Michael Sheen's character is annoying. Diane is everything. And it ends with a bang. I can't wait until season 4.
