Hmmm, how do you think the series should end? Her husband becomes president and she's the First Lady? That would be killer.
I don't see her with the investigator. That's to fast, pat, and out of character. Will is dead, but her going with him would have made sense.
I see a tidy wrap up, not a "and things continued on as before" ending like Mad Men.
Yeah, the only thing that makes sense is the family moves into the White House, and you have an Obama/Clinton mash up.
I'd actually watch that if they went another year.

Peter is not becoming President.
I predict Alicia will finally serve him with divorce papers. I don't see a relationship with the investigator as too fast. She has major regrets about how things turned out with Will, and she's not gonna waste more time.

I'm hoping for a divorce, since the marriage has been mostly a sham for years. I'm an episode behind, but I've been enjoying this season. I'm glad it's going to end before over staying its welcome too much.

I bowed out after reading one too many stories about JM being a b*tch. I haven't missed this season at all. I'm glad it's ending.

I'm hoping for a divorce and launch of her own campaign for governor of Illinois. I believe in Eli, and he believes in Alicia. I don't care whether or not things progress with possible sociopath and smoking hot investigator though I do enjoy JDM's presence anywhere.

Yeah, I think she'll serve Peter with divorce papers and then begin her own run for higher office.
The name of the show is The Good Wife and Alicia played that part throughout, at least publicly. She dutifully stood by her man when he cheated, when he became governor, when he tried for the Dem nomination. She was a good wife. But it will end with her realizing that an actual good wife knows when to end it. They will get all symbolism-y with the show's title in the final ep, methinks.

I'm still two episodes behind, so I'm trying not to spoil myself. I do want to say however that...
it's Maid-Rite people!!!! Not "loose meat sandwich" and they are delicious, especially with melted cheese, ketchup, mustard and pickles.

I believe "Maid-Rite" is trademarked, so that's why they went with the generic "loose meat", just like in Rosanne when she opened her restaurant.

Maid-Rite is the name of a sandwich? It sounds like a housecleaning product.
