I quit reading after the outrage over the "How come I have to be here?" "Because you love your brother." "Then why doesn't he have to come to my recitals?" "Because WE love your brother" exchange. Psychological child abuse of the highest order, it was declared. I thought it was funny.

What got me about that exchange is that it was mostly deemed as funny by the same people who thought Claire's comment was abusive. Many there just hate Claire, for whatever reason.
There was also a poster who went on and on about a comment at the job interview/party (the place with the car turntable) regarding "I like your beard" which was said by the potential new boss to Mitchell. Someone (over) analyzed this to be some sort of gay-bearding-hidden agenda remark, blahblahblah. Get a life, people.

I assume they hate Claire because she's pretty and blonde. The only other lead female is an ethnic specific person, so hating on her would be racist, or at least cause a lot of that to be tossed around. I have found TWOP isn't happy unless there is a villian on every show, even shows that aren't meant to have them.

I like Claire. Actually I like everyone. Cameron, Mitchell, Manny, and Gloria are my favorites.

I love Cameron, Manny, Grandpa (can't remember his name) and the daughter with the glasses the best.
This coming week Fred Willard is going to be on playing Claire's father in law. I LOVE Fred Willard.

When the series started I hated Phil. He was just creepy and immature. I wondered what the hell Claire ever saw in him. But I feel the writers wanted us to like Phil, so they've made Claire into a crazy shrew. I wish they'd back off that a bit. I used to hate their scenes together because Phil was such a jackass. Now I hate their scenes together becase Claire is such a pill.
My favourite part of last night's episode was the last 5 minutes with the backyard muddy photoshoot, and Jay's voice-over.

The pigeon scene freaked me out. I have a deep fear and hatred of birds, and I so identified with Mitchell's reaction. Except I would've just run screaming out of the house.
