Ha! I read the plot summary on wikipedia. I always do that with scary movies, I'm such a wuss.
I think this one might bother me tonight when I'm trying to go to sleep though...

So yeah, just got back from this and not to hype it up too much, but this is easily one of the scariest movies I have seen. It takes a lot to get me scared and this movie got to me! So fucking creepy!
And what's worse, the view that the camera in the movie has of the stairs/hallway is the exact same view I have in my house...from my bed! Yeah, should be interesting trying to sleep tonight! haha!

And I think that is what makes the movie scary that it isn't some old creepy house, it takes place in a home that millions have.

Given the massive hype, I was just the tiniest bit disappointed, and felt last weekend's foray to Zombieland gave us a better return on our movie-going investment. That said, I'm a little bit glad that we live in a place with a bedroom barely large enough to walk around the bed, let alone allow a man-tossing-sized demon into the room.

This site amused the hell out of me. As for the movie? I don't really like these kinds of movies. I mean, I'm curious, sure, but the whole >> 'we're recording our own story' thing always means the characters are ill-fated, and I guess I'm just too cynical to watch a story where I know everybody's going to die (or be incapacitated) in the end because it feels cheap<<.

Ok, so I am a huge huge horror fan as some of you may know but I loathe going to the theater. Still, I keep hearing about how great this film is and I really don't want to wait for dvd. Problem now is noone will go with me so my question is, can I see this alone or is it just too scary for that. I could drag my dad along with me but he is 70 and I don't want him having a heart attack or anything. I am kind of surprised how wimpy some of my friends are being lol.

From one huge horror fan to another, I would not want to see it alone. Although it wasn't as scary as I had hoped, there were definitely moments that I had a death grip on my fiance...especially for the last 15 minutes of the movie. Also, bedtime was pretty scary. I fell asleep ok, but woke up in the middle of the night thinking about it. Needless to say, I was glad to have two warm bodies in bed with me: my fiance and my dog

Read the spoiler at MoviePooper.com and I think I just saved myself $15.00.
