That was my problem with it too. I kept feeling like, "c'mon, now he 's buying an ouija board? Have you never heard ghost stories as a kid? You're just asking for it now."

I mean hello idiot, have you never seen nor read The Exorcist? Don't fuck with the Ouija boards. And I say this to from one personal experience. Ouija's are bad mmkay?

Right?? I bought a Ouija board once, then I read a bunch of scary stories online and got so freaked that I threw it out, unopened.

Did anyone else see the PA2 preview before Eclipse? I have to admit, it gave me chills. I am definitely going to see it (but if anything happens to the dog, I will be PISSED!!!). I thought the idea of a sequel was ridiculous, but after seeing the preview I think it may have potential. I liked the first film, though.

Though a dog and baby in the movie has me nervous...especially considering how the first one ended.

The dog better be fine, open the door and allow it to flee. Stupid humans can do what they want.

Oh, the dog should take the baby with it as well. Stupid parents can do what they want.
Had friends see the movie, both said this one is better than the first. They wouldn't answer my question about the dog.

I didn't see a thread for PA2.
I hated it. Well...I hated the family. The fact that they're white, made their money through Buger King, live in a McMansion and then have a picture of an African tribal child decorating their home just pissed me off. Really? That and the fact that they fired their ethnic nanny for having ethnic traditions. SMH. [edit: Not a single one of those things alone is bad, just that altogether it was the typical self-absorbed, clueless, materialistic, unhealthy, cultural-appropriating American.]
As for the fear factor? The first one was much better.

I tried to watch PA2, then when I figured out that there was a kid, I looked online for spoilers to see how the kid fared. I shut it off right then, because I don't deal with infants in peril. Mess with some teens or something, but no one under 16.
