I just hate contestants that appear on reality shows and then are like "sure, I've been in the bottom two a bazillion times, but I am NOT going to beg Ru to stay! That's degrading!" - firstly, you signed up for a reality show, you passed degrading long ago. Also, it's a goddamn competition! I don't care if you gotta fingerbang Tyra herself or give Ru a reach-around, you wanna stay, you gotta play!
I am trying really hard to remember one thing that Delta did to distinguish herself, no matter how one can relate?! I totally LOLed at Shangela pulling shade at calling her 'Mimi Imfurst' - despite her inconsistency, I thought SLM was the most interesting of the big girls.

My thing with Manila's Asian schtick is that it sometimes leaves me feeling like... "Really, Manila? Is that really all you got?" Offensive or not, I question whether she defaults to that whenever she doesn't have anything else in the bag. I don't mean that she should never reference her heritage, but it can seem a little lazy sometimes.

bklynred, Shangela was trying to make an issue of Manilla portraying an Asian stereotype that wasn't organic to Manilla's type of Asian, which is philipino... she was clutching her pearls at the insensitivity of it all. But IMO Shangela was walking that same razor's edge with the comedy routine. Totally! She played a pimp/ho on the stroll for her routine...uh, sure that's totally PC. |

Wasn't Manila's outfit recycled from an earlier challenge, only she added a Big Bird Hat? I feel like I've seen her in that bright yellow look before.

I have to give Shangela credit for genuinely trying to improve her weaknesses this episode. But why is she JUST NOW trying to improve her weaknesses? Bitch has been doing drag for 2 years and she still doesn't know how to do her makeup? Also, she has had a whole YEAR since appearing on Season 2 to improve. You would think she would have learned how to sew and learn how to blend by now. She still looks as busted this season as she did last season. The only time she looked good was at the Season 2 reunion, and now we have learned that was Raja's doing. IMO, She doesn't want to learn. She doesn't care about drag. She just wants to be a star, and she figured drag was her means to accomplish that. It was bleeped, but I could have sworn Carmen referred to her junk as her pussy ("I'm tucking my pussy"), and I found that hilarious.  |

Ah, because reality shows love a redemption arc.
This is the only way I can see Shangela not winning. Michelle already asked her if she really wants to do drag. I can see her either getting the "you aren't serious about drag/you don't want to be here" exit or she'll get the "look how much she's changed and grown!" win. This show really is just like American's Next Top Model in that regard. Only the ride is a million times more fun.
