Part of me wonders though, if it was a child, other than Beyonce's would people go coocoo bananas over it? People would openly mock, and demean the child, and vilify her parents. Beyonce fans included. If this was a child of one of Beyonce's perceived rivals right now, I can guarantee people would be as cruel and heartless about that child as if it was the next Hitler. The Beyhive is beyond all reason. All they know is worship of Beyonce. If she was still childless, and some other R&B chick had a daughter with natural or unkempt hair, they would be absolutely merciless. It must so hard for them to keep their bile in check. No question, it's wrong on all levels. But particularly due to the fact that it perpetuates disgust of black beauty ideals. It is sad and unfortunate. I think Karruche was just reading the cards. someone behind the scenes wrote it, and a producer okayed it. Bad choices all around.

People were just as pissed when folks were making fun of Zahara Jolie-Pitt and Gabby Douglas so I don't think Blue Ivy being Beyonce's child has anything to do with it. I've never seen the Beyhive go after children at all, so I don't think that assumption is very fair. They will go after adults with a vengeance but not kids, in my experience.

I haven't seen that at all. Even when they've attacked Blue Ivy (Syleena Johnson comparing her to Old Dirty Bastard). There's always a few assholes in the bunch, but on a whole, no. That doesn't happen.

I don't give a crap about the Beyhive, I'm just sick of people shitting on non-wavy/bouncy-bouncy curl textured natural hair. Blue Ivy is just the most recent person (a toddler at that) the media and other folks with issues to take their bile out on.

BET should be shame of themselves. Blue Ivy is a child. A child! I guess no one on that show understood the hypocrisy of a black music show on a black network dissing a child with a natural hairstyle. SMDH And to think I defended the existence of BET when someone (who happened to be white) asked, "Why do we have to have Black Entertainment Television?" (Why would anyone on BET publicly diss on Beyonce's child anyway? Was a bridge already burned before this incident?)

On ONTD, they are saying BET was pissed because Beyonce & Jay-Z haven't performed live for their awards show, but did for MTV.

They certainly won't perform on the BET Awards now!
I heard a clip on the radio this morning of Papa Knowles calling all the divorce speculation a "Jedi Mind Trick" that boosted publicity, interest in the tour, and Solange's album sales.

Papa Knowles said this? I'd give what he said a little more cred if he were still Beyonce's manager...but he's not, right? ETA: On ONTD, they are saying BET was pissed because Beyonce & Jay-Z haven't performed live for their awards show, but did for MTV. I can see BET throwing shade at Beyonce, but at her kid? Unless the kid is a total brat who wrecked havoc on that network's offices, leave her out of it.

He's a creep, but I'd believe anything at this point. Nothing seems to be too low or off limits these days when it comes to celebrity and PR.

One of my local DJs pointed out that going from selling 3 units to 12 would be a big increase in percentage terms but raw numbers, not so much.
Matthew should be more worried about his paternity drama(s) than stepping into marital speculation about Bey and Jay.
