She's talented and certainly works hard but yeah I don't get why critics and awards people are so gaga over her. She has what 13 Grammys? Her albums aren't that good!
Also, she really needs to stop with the, "OMG! I want an Oscar!" talk. It's gotten to the point where it sounds like she's begging for one and it's just sad. Plus, she's doesn't have the talent to back it up. At least Kate Winslet admitted she wanted an Oscar it was said with some humor and well Kate is a talented actress who really freaking deserved an Oscar! Ambition is fine but dear God she enters Sarah Palin territory here!

She is a bragger, but a clever one. I was watching some entertainment shows after the Grammys and she was feigning wonder and amazement while bragging when she said several times to reporters: "I can't believe I have 16 Grammys!". She is so transparent.

I was watching some entertainment shows after the Grammys and she was feigning wonder and amazement while bragging when she said several times to reporters: "I can't believe I have 16 Grammys!". She is so transparent. Honey, most of us can't believe you have 16 Grammys either, so it's a pretty big club.  |

She is so transparent. Oh, ick. It wouldn't surprise me if she got an Oscar one day. Many an award was given away without merit (unpopular opinion: Jennifer Hudson), and I'm sure that as long as there's a weak Oscar year or she can make herself into an underdog (gee, perhaps she should have plotted to be the victim in Kanye-gate?), I can believe she'd net one. And then after that, she'd write an autobiography called "My Amazing Career" (with apologies to Arnold J. Rimmer). |
