It's amazing... I try to watch the shows first that I can watch with my kid, so the Justifieds sit on my DVR until there are so many that I have to watch them or they'll fall off. But once I start watching them, I can't help but inhale them like air as quickly as I can - they are that good. I just flove the writing, and the characters, and the actors who play them.
And on a side note, I love seeing so many actors that were originally on Deadwood pop up here. They can keep mining that vein for as long as they like. I mean, can you imagine the awesome Ian McShane guesting on this? My mind is blown at the thought.

Yes to the Deadwood alums, and this ep was badass all around. Bob representing! Rachel laying it down. Tim with the molotovs! "They're circling the wagons!" That was smooth, I hope marshals from lil towns everywhere caught that. And badasssss Ava. Do not f*ck with that broad. I love how diplomatic Boyd can be... "Drew's not here. I'm out." And all the good guys came out alive. Whew.

Why is Colt still alive? I would have figured him for dead meat when Boyd realized that Ellen Mae was still alive.

I think Colt either saved Boyd's life or shared in some shady business while in the military, and Boyd just has a soft spot for him. And the Drew Thompson thing abruptly overshadowed the Ella Mae dilemma; Boyd not finding Drew seemed like more of an immediate threat. I have a feeling he & Jimmy are going out with a bang (sorry for the pun) before season's end (the B story guys usually do). Although, Jimmy is actually blood family... I don't know, this show keeps surprising me.

Did I hear right? Jimmy is in love with Ava. She fucking awesome, so that's understandable, but dude...she tends to shoot men who cross her with a shotgun.

I'm starting to have a crush on Johnny Crowder. What is wrong with me? But he's not long for this world. This was a really good episode.

Can't believe it's been 2 days since the finale and no one has commented on it. Everyone survived! More or less.
Sigh...the nursery shootout reminded me why I love Raylan & Winona. They were badass. I wish relationships worked on this show because they have so much chemistry together. But alas...no babies or wives allowed.
Speaking of wives...Ava survived the season, but lost her freedom. Poignant moment with Boyd alone at their dream house. It just wasn't meant to be. Excellent work by Walter as usual.
The Marshals were great too, though definitely not enough Tim & Rachel.

Whaat? I thought there was one ep left? Although it all makes sense. My brain was clearly hoping for more. The nursery shootout was nuts, Winona's like "Don't forget me, I never left, bitches!"

I finally saw the last 3 episodes of the season and my God, what a great show this is! The nursery shootout was insane, and it made me love Winona again. Poor Ava and Boyd. Maybe we'll get more Tim and Rachel next season? I really love this show and have several people at work hooked on it now. Muahahaha! I look forward to its return next year. Well done, Olyphant and company!

I've heard both Goggins and Olyphant on podcasts recently (Chris Hardwick's and I think Aisha Tyler's) and they're equally entertaining in real life. Goggins gleefully makes fun of his own forehead. I want to delve into The Shield to see him more, but I watch too much TV as it is...
