I'm trying to find a British (?) horror or thriller involving two evil young'uns. Twins, maybe, blonde hair--very odd looking. Made in the last five years, as I think I saw previews for it on my DVD copy of My Summer of Love.

Is it The Children? Made in 2008, but I don't think the kids were twins, they were evil though!

I saw a preview for a horror film a few months ago and I canNOT think of the title to save my life. It was billed as one of the few all-African-American cast horror films. A group head off to an isolated place for a vacation. Everyone has a secret. AND they are all connected in some way to this place, which is haunted. They all start being killed off. Standard horror stuff.
ETA: nope. It's modern. It seemed like it was done in early 2000s.

Was it a preview for an old horror movie? If so, sounds like House on Skull Mountain, which is dreadful.

This one is a longshot. A 1970s movie maybe a made-for-TV movie or special, about a Native American teen girl who is sent to a reform house somewhere in the southwest, where she is tormented constantly by the staff and other kids and at one point hung upside down from a tree so all the other students in passing could spank her bottom. Then she is sent to another school, or maybe more sympathetic staff come to the first school, who finally "reach" her psychologically and dress her up with a hair ribbon and nice clothes to show her how pretty she really is. The story concludes with her narrating (as an adult) saying how how indebted she was to the synpathetic teacher. Ring a bell for anyone?

No, and I'm grateful for that. I'm traumatized enough by 70's girl-in-trouble movies. What the hell was going on then? Linda Blair being raped with a broom/plunger stick while in juvenile detention? Sick fuck producers...

I never saw the movie but I do own the book Hatter Fox and knew they did a made for tv movie about it.

I think it's called The Cleaner. I only saw the first half of it though. It stars the man who is in every third movie, Samuel L. Jackson.
