OK, I hope somebody can help me with this one. It's a Hong Kong movie, I think from the 80's about a group of women in jail. We see each of their background story and why they end up in jail, except for one, who has a patch on her eye. She convinces them all to escape and go look for some gold, but in the end they all die. From what I remember it was called "The Golden Queen", but it was a translation and I'm looking for the original title.

Is "A Patch of Blue" the one about the schoolkids on Venus, where the one little girl believes in the exsistence of the Sun, but no one else believes her, and they think she's crazy, and on the ONE day when the sun is supposed to appear they lock her in a closet so she doesn't get to see it, and all she gets is a strip of sunlight under the door? Because I LOVE that movie! I was shown that movie and "The Red Balloon" several times in elementary school and they both had a profound effect on me. I'd like to get them both on DVD for my kids.
For some reason, "The Red Balloon" is kind of intertwined, in my mind, with Pink Floyd's "The Wall". I think it might be because of some of the working-class London imagery. And I first saw them both when I was young.

Please help! Okay, I have 2 movie queries. The first is an Italian movie I believe. It's about this prostitute for men with quirky fetishes. One client is a pastry chef who decorates her naked body like a cake. There's another client who dresses like a baby and wants her to be the nanny, etc. etc. Does this sound familiar to anyone???
The second one is a children's movie I saw in the early 1980s. It starts out with these babies talking to eachother in the infant ward of a hospital. The babies are all puppets (imagine cabbage patch dolls, but their heads are diamond-shaped, like Stewie from Family Guy), and they're all waiting to be picked up by their parents. The movie then cuts to a bunch of different sketches, but always goes back to the babies. Does this one sound familiar???

Here's a movie I remember from my childhood. I've serached for it from time to time, but never found anything.
Timing-wise, I can remember watching it over and over and over on HBO probably about 1981 or 1982 or so.
Plot-wise, I remember it was about several kids. The main character, a boy, was an ony child who lived with his divorced mom. The kids roller skated a lot. The boy had a bed which was a space ship shaped object in his room with a matress inside. The kids would get in the space ship and pretend they were going off on missions. In many ways, the plot of Zathura kind of reminded me of what I remember of this. The only other thing I remember about the movie was that they planed song in it which repeated "Trocadero" several times.

I think I know it!!! I think it was called Trocadero Bleu Citron. I know I've butchered the spelling, but I think it's it. Wasn't it set in France? I've thought about this movie a lot and wished I could see it again.
I have one I'm wondering about, too. I just saw the trailor for Munich and I thought, "I've already seen this movie." I don't remember who was in it but the main guy looked like Harry Hamlin or Jonathan Schaech. Has anyone else seen it or know the name?

Glad I could help Sheila. Good luck finding it though, I tried a few years back to find it for my nephew and had no luck. It's a great kids movie, although by now probably very outdated.
