There's a movie from around the 80s/early 90s that I once saw where this man is forcing a girl to marry him. When it's her turn to say 'I do', he removes her gag. She tries to say no and he replaces the gag and answers for her. It sounds very Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, but I swear it's a different movie. I think it was a Western - I seem to remember a desert and everybody being quite dusty. Anyhow, ring any bells? This actually sounds like Beetlejuice. I have one. There was this cheesy 80's movie about this monster from outer space that beamed down to earth through a families satellite dish and went around killing everyone. I remember that the monster could take the persons severed head and make it speak. Any ideas?

There's a zombie movie (probably from the 80's) that I remember flipping past quickly on the TV when I was a kid.. I only saw a couple of minutes of it, but those couple of minutes have stuck with me my entire life.
All I can remember is that a zombie’s severed head was in a trash can, and it ended up biting a guy. Also I recall a scene in a car where a girl was with a guy, possibly her boyfriend, who had been bitten and was slowly turning into a zombie.
God, my brother used to torture me, constantly, whenever we were alone together in the car by pretending he was turning into the undead. Then when my mom would get in he would pretend like nothing happened.
Stupid brother.
Does anyone have any clue what movie this is? Or am I being way too vague? I would like to exorcise some old demons by watching it now, since I’m older and not so chickenshit.

My first thought was of My Boyfriend's Back. But I don't think it was on tv in the 80's. Was this a straight up scary move? Or a horror/comedy?

It could be any of the Night of the Living Dead movies. There's one sequel called Return of the Living Dead, circa 1984, which features severed body parts of zombies that are undead, and also features a girl who's boyfriend slowly turns into a zombie as the flick goes on. (Eventually he turns on her whilst yelling, "Braaaaiiinns!" and she runs off screaming-don't know if that info helps.)

It know it wasn't The Return of the Living Dead. I just saw that recently and none of the scenes sparked my memory. It might have been one of the sequels though. I remember the scene were the zombie head bites the guy was played for laughs (of course it wasn't very funny to my little overactive imagination at the time). Thanks for the help guys!

Okay, this is cheating, but it's for one of my bosses. She's in a video store Oscar pool, and the bonus question is this:
In a scene from a film from the 1970's, a Best Actress winner reads the novel of a film in which she previously starred. Name the actress and both films.
The nominees are:
Glenda Jackson "Women in Love" Jane Fonda "Klute" Liza Minnelli "Cabaret" Glenda Jackson "A Touch of Class" Ellen Burstyn "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" Louise Fletcher "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" Faye Dunaway "Network" Diane Keaton "Annie Hall" Jane Fonda "Coming Home" Sally Field "Norma Rae"
I think I've narrowed it down to Glenda Jackson reading "Women in Love" in "A Touch of Class" or Diane Keaton reading "The Godfather" in "Annie Hall", but I don't know for sure. Anyone got a clue?

The movie connections for "Annie hall" on IMDB.com say the movie references "The Godfather" so I would go with that one.
Wait.
Never mind that was referencing a different scene. Sorry.
