I'm trying to remember the name of an Australian film from the late 70's/early 80's. It involved a special needs child named David, who was completely attached to his portable radio. Whenever he was angry or upset, he'd squall for his radio: "Raaaaaaaaiiiioooooo!" Because we kids were evil and insensitive at that age, "Raaiioo! Raaiioo!" became our code phrase for "Duh, I just did something stupid."
And yeah, remembering this movie made the Cuba Gooding Jr. film Radio even more unintentionally humorous (if that were possible).

Is "A Patch of Blue" the one about the schoolkids on Venus, where the one little girl believes in the exsistence of the Sun, but no one else believes her, and they think she's crazy, and on the ONE day when the sun is supposed to appear they lock her in a closet so she doesn't get to see it, and all she gets is a strip of sunlight under the door? Because I LOVE that movie! I was shown that movie and "The Red Balloon" several times in elementary school and they both had a profound effect on me. I'd like to get them both on DVD for my kids. The movie about the little girl (Margot) who was bullied by her classmates on Venus is "All Summer in a Day," which was based on a short story of the same name by Ray Bradbury. I love that story!

Okay. There's a french film that came out about 10 years ago--that is set in the 1800's and shot completely in front of blue screen. Does anyone know what it is?

Wild guess and probably not what you're looking for, but, any chance you might be referring to The Lady and the Duke, aka L'anglaise et le duc? It came out about five years ago, and is set during the Terror in revolutionary France. It was based on the life of Grace Elliott, a Scottish courtesan who was the mistress of the Duc d'Orleans (Philippe Egalite). The film has a very unusual look to it, almost like it was shot against blue screen, because the director used hand-painted backdrops instead of sets. Interesting film.

This has been bothering me for a while...there was a movie I remember seeing when I was young, probably in the mid to late 80s. I thought it was called something like the Witch's Sister, but there's nothing like that on IMDB. It's basically about a girl who thinks her older sister is a witch. I remember a few parts:
-the girl is looking in an upstairs window from outside, and she sees her sister "flying," but her sister is really practicing ballet or something with her boyfriend.
-the girl is invited to a woman's house, who she also thinks is a witch, and the woman gives her chocolate cake. The girl thinks it's poisoned, so she flushes it down the toilet.
I don't know why, but this is driving me crazy. Please, someone know what I'm talking about!
ETA: Wow, nevermind. Somehow, I just found what it is (an episode in a TV series called "Big Blue Marble")

I'm looking for a French movie that came out in the last four years or so. It involves a young man who becomes involved with a brother and sister who have a strange possibly sexual relationship.
