In Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End: at the very beginning when the boy is singing "Hoist the Colors" during the hanging scene, the camera cuts away to all the other victims. When the camera comes back and focuses on the boy's face just before it goes dark, you can clearly see that he is wearing braces on his front teeth.

They looked like tarnished silver caps to me, like what Jack has but in worse shape. I definitely didn't see any braces on the kid, and I checked the second time I saw it because I kept hearing about it.

Yes! I rented this movie the other night, indygirl, and noticed the 2-dogs 3-dogs thing.

I was talking about this moment in another thread:
and it made me think of the scene in Castaway when Helen Hunt give Tom Hanks his Jeep back. All she has to do is grab her daughter's *very clean* car seat. There's no diaper bag, no Cheerios or Goldfish fall out of the carseat, there are no sunglasses or anything else. Just that super clean carseat. It took me out of the whole movie. Or maybe I'm just the only one who is a complete car slob.

Before my car-shunning days began, I kept every one of my cars immaculate.

In PotC: AWE: When Captain Jack and Elizabeth, ahem, parasail off of the Flying Dutchman and land in the water and get rescued by the Black Pearl, they are both completely dry as they stand on its deck. I know it was right before one of the most momentous scenes, but c'mon. You land in the ocean, you get wet. You have to change pirate costumes before you can resume fighting the Davey Jones and his Evil Sea Food.

Tonight, TTMR & I re-watched Snakes on a Plane. I was all proud of myself for noticing that the Sexay Flight Attendant's skirt was much shorter when she first climbed on the plane for duty than it was at the end when they'd finally been rescued. Clearly, trauma adds fabric to your clothes. Then I went to IMDb's goofs section for this movie. Yeah, there are a lot of mistakes.

Watched My Best Friend's Girl ( what a piece of shit that was!) and whomever applied the tanner/bronzer to the actors did a craptacular job. It was Lindsay Lohan-ish.

Ohhhh, I didn't know about this thread! I annoy people because I keep pointing out goofs that make it into films. Hey, I'm not saying the movie is bad but even great films have mistakes in them!
Way back when Tom Cruise did a film called Days of Thunder. He played a guy named Cole Trickle. In one scene Cole is stopping by a character's house. Cole is introduced to a woman and the woman says, clear as day by the way, "Hey Tom!" Now, I get mistakes happen and may not be noticed but shouldn't this been an automatic "CUT! The character's name is not Tom!"? Why was that take even printed?!
After the end of the Battle of Helms Deep in LOTR: The Two Towers Gandaf is remarking how the battle for Middle Earth has begun. This shot includes Aragron, Theoden, and Eomer. One problem though. Eomer, in this shot, is clearly a stand in for Karl Urban.
Another LOTR:TT goof happens in during the Battle of Helms Deep. At times Legolas has blue eyes and other times his eyes are brown. Legolas is a magical elf! Or Orlando Bloom forgot his contacts and nobody noticed. Take your pick.
In Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Aragorn, Gandalf, Eomer, Gimli, Merry, and Pippin ride to the Black Gate to draw out Sauron forces. Merry, Pippin, and Gimli all ride with bigger beings. In one shot you clearly see that Gandalf's whoever is riding with Gandalf is a dummy.
Also, as stated above, Aragorn and his gang ride to the Black Gate. Yet, the horses have mysteriously vanished by the time they charge the gate.
Another LOTR:ROK goof (hey in my defense I recently watched it again!) there is a scene where survivors of the Battle of Pelennor's Fields are walking around obviously trying to see who lived and died. In shot one (I believe as Pippin finds Merry's cloak) you can see on of the dead Rohirrim Riders is a woman with a beard glued on.

Heh. My mind always goes "Bearded women! Bearded women!" when the Rohirrim make their first appearance in the movies.
