Ever want to like a film or a film series because your friends do, or because everyone says you should, or because the acting is great, or because it's won awards..... or just because? But you just Can't??? Which ones??

Grease. I don't understand its appeal.

House. Don't get it plus it's pretty much the only thing with Hugh Laurie I haven't liked.
ETA: Oops. My bad. This is for movies not television.
Goonies. I was 18 when this came out so most of my younger friends who love this were kids and just rave how awesome it is. I tried to watch it once but couldn't get past the first twenty minutes.
I'll add on Breakfast Club. I kind of liked it back in the day but I really can't stand it now except for the Anthony Michael Hall and pre-hideous-makeover Ally Sheedy scenes.

Inglorious Basterds. I think Tarantino rocks but I was underwhelmed by this film. And it makes me sad cuz I really wanted to like it.

The Sound of Music. I just can't get into this movie. It's too long and frankly, the songs aren't all that great.

Avatar all the way. Hey, I *get* how it's a milestone in the moviemaking craft, but the story was... well, it wrecked it for me.

Titanic. I saw it for free, and I still wanted my money back.

Slumdog Millionaire. The two leads were just so boring and after hearing everyone say that it was the "feel-good film of the decade!" I was surprised at how depressing I found it.

Yeah, I'm sorry, I just didn't care about the story and have nearly fallen asleep the few times I've tried to watch it. We can still be friends though, right? *hands Brookie fresh baked cookies*
