Despite the fact that Nedsdag is a Yankees fan, and I'm in love with the Red Sox--I agree with most of her list.

Finally, my own personal Waterloo Shallow Grave. I love the actors, I love Danny Boyle, the story is right up my ally, in theory--it should be one of my all time favorite movies. Yet, I hate it, I do.

Casablanca.

Ingrid Bergman looks lovely and Humphrey Bogart has charisma. But the story is so cliched, it's like every romance movie cliche you've seen a hundred times all packed together into one movie. I just plain don't like it.

I also find that I don't like some of the movies that all "80's babies" are supposed to love. I especially thought "The Goonies" was stupid.

Dude, that's just what I came here to post! Not only that, it's a double-slam b/c Jimmy Stewart looks like my grandpa, so my mom is doubly offended by my lack of Lurve.

And I also hated Something About Mary. It'd been hyped as this amaaaaazingly funny movie, but all I could think was that it was a not-that-funny dumb guy wish-fulfillment story.

I wrote a Blather about this on my website a million years ago. I should go look, but I remember having Steel Magnolias on my list. People get very mad at me when I tell them I hated Steel Magnolias. Even with the "my colors are Blush and Bashful" quote, I still hate it.

Titanic. I saw it for free, and I still wanted my money back.
