But, but...the man is Chris O'Dowd*!
*Yeah, I'm a bit of a fan.

The Name of the Rose
Perhaps it was too many people telling me I was going to love it knowing how much I love Sean Connery and will sit through long movies and pay attention to the most minute details, but he couldn't save it for me.

The only reason I watched it was for Christian Slater's bare butt. I know, but then I realized it was his underage bare butt and I feel bad. A little.

The Hours. Mostly because I couldn't stand Nicole Kidman in that one.

The Dark Knight. Yes I was the one person who didn't like it.

I didn't like it that much, either.

I watched The Dark Knight again this past weekend when it was on TV, and, yeah, it's high-quality for a summer popcorn movie based on a comic book character, but it's not some masterpiece. It's great when compared to something really crappy like The Green Lantern, but that's about as far as it goes for me.

I gave it a shot twice and both times didn't make it past Meryl Streep in the flower shop. I'm not even sure if Kidman had put in an appearance yet.

I hated American Pie. I don't think I laughed once. I thought it was an appalling movie. Not because of the stupid pie, but how Shannon Elizabeth's character is broadcast on the internet masturbating or something? I was mad for like a whole day after enduring it. Crappy, unfunny, stupid movie.
Very Bad Things. Again, not funny. Everyone I know loves this movie. I don't. I hated it!
*deep breath* This will win me no friends, seeing as all my fellow Gen Xers love it: Pulp Freaking Fiction. Oh yeah, I "got" it; I just didn't want it. The stupid bit about the cheeseburgers, the overdose. God I hated this movie. The only decent thing about it was Urge Overkill's cover of Neil Diamond. I know this is the defining 90s movie (the decade I came of age) but I don't see the greatness. I guess Tarantino does not float my boat. I did like Reservoir Dogs, though. But Pulp Fiction can go kick rocks.
