For all you people who find Se7en disturbing, here is a video to make it a little less disturbing...or more, depending on your feelings toward stuffed animals. It's almost towards the bottom of the list, and it's called "Se7en Redux." link

I agree with Queequeg. This thread is owned by the rape scene in The Accused. I can't even comprehend how Jodie Foster got through it.

The scene in Se7en where they think the Sloth guy is dead, and he grabs the guys arm and gurgles incoherently..... omg. Just about every scene in that movie disturbed me to the point of nightmares, and I LOVE scary movies. But when the Lust guy was sobbing and screaming for them to get the murder weapon off of him..... ugh. I can't get those two scenes out of my mind. *SPOILER* (because I can't seem to figure out how to tag it. Also, the scene in Monster, where the guy rapes Eileen (Charlize Theron) with a pipe is the ONE reason that I will never watch that movie again. It was so brutal.

OMG ladymadonna! That was the worst part of Monster for me too! That whole movie was depressing due to the subject matter, but the way Charlize was screaming when he was raping her haunted me for days. Also, I hated the part when he poured rubbing alcohol (I think) on her which burned her wounds and made her scream more. This was definately a movie that only gets one viewing.

Ugh. Just...ugh.
It's been years since I watched Se7en-what happened with the "Lust" killing again? (And yes, the one for Sloth scared the shit out of me!)

Directed by Bob Clark, who did Porky's and...A Christmas Story. Figure THAT out! And yet you didn't get to the part about Bobby Peru and how not to handle a shotgun. Talk about gross and funny! God no! If they do, they deserve to be shotgunned on general principles. But the director of that shit is a complete asshole and possibly a pedophile...geez, like that isn't obvious from the flick. Yuck. Guy who wrote that? Also a pedophile.

The killer (Kevin Spacey) forced a guy to have sex with a prostitute..... while wearing a dildo that was made of a knife-type-......thing, thus killing her in a slow and agonizing way. Horrifying.

From a few pages ago... I also saw I Spit on Your Grave with a date, again as a teen. (What can I say, we were poor, we had Blockbuster dates.) I was really disturbed because the lead looked so much like Madeleine Stowe, who looks exactly like the white version of me (I'm mixed race). Those are the most brutal rape scenes I have ever suffered through. For some reason I always thought my college roomates and I were the only people to ever see this movie. We'd gone to the beach after finals and wanted to rent some scary movies. We headed over to the video store (no Blockbuster in this small beach town), but they only had sequels to the classics and B-movies we'd never heard of. One of my friends picks up Spit and asks the very grizzled clerk if it's any good. He answers, "It's brutal, but it's a classic." Being the stupid girls we were, we rented it. It still disturbs me that Grizzled Clerk considered it a classic. The movie was an hour long rape scene with ten minute beginning and endings tacked on.

Oh, yeah, that's right. Dammit, if I were that guy, I'd probably just tell the killer to shoot me now.

Not to make light of such gruesome things, but these are both things I thought of when I was forced to watch 'Beyond the Sea.' Okay, I'll go to hell. See you lot later.
