I happened across that old Goldie Hawn movie Wildcats the other night. Had not seen it in years. I was really surprised to see that it had Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson in it. And LL Cool J. I loved that movie when I was a kid.

My best friend and I used to watching this cheesy movie called Camp Cucamonga. It had many popular teen actors of the day in it like Candance Cameron, Danica McKellar, Jaleel White, and Chad Allen. Anyway, we were rewatching for laughs and guess who else is in it? Jennifer Aniston as a camp counselor. That had us howling. I still have the original broadcast of that on tape. Ha, ha - awesome! I just re-watched this - SO many early '90s TV stars! I loved how the day was saved by a rap performance.

I just read the whole diary and I just saw a movie that could possibly own this thread: The Flamingo Kid starring Matt Dillion.
I can read you the roster of future up and comers in this film: Fisher Stevens, Janet Jones, Marisa Tomei, Steven Weber, Leon (Robinson), John Tuturro, Bronson Pinchot, and for those who watch Army Wives on Lifetime, you will see a very, very young Brian McNamara, who now plays the mature Gen. Michael Holden on the show.

Watched my guilty pleasure Drop Dead Gorgeous and there's Amy Adams (the slutty blonde) and Brittany Murphy (the brunette who gives Kirsten Dunst her costume) as contestants in the pageant. Not to mention a bunch of HITGs and Denise Richards as the spoiled princess daughter. Kirstie Alley was awesome in this.

And of course, there's always one of my all-time favorites, Dazed and Confused, starring then-unknowns Jason London, Ben Affleck, Matthew McConaughey, Anthony Rapp, Milla Jovovich, Adam Goldberg, Marissa Ribisi, Rory Cochrane, Parker Posey, Joey Lauren Adams, Cole Hauser, and, in a non-speaking walk-on role, Renee Zellweger...

I LOVE THIS MOVIE! I watched it just last night again. It drives my husband nuts that I have to watch it EVERY single time its on...not like I own it or anything. I must not be paying too much attention though I don't remember Renee. What scene is she in? I do know that the kid who plays Mitch's friend Carl Burnett played Arnie on The Cleaner with Benjamin Bratt.

God, I loved Drop Dead Gorgeous. So funny. I especially loved Allison Janney and Ellen Barkin with her beer can welded to her hand in the explosion.

I do know that the kid who plays Mitch's friend Carl Burnett played Arnie on The Cleaner with Benjamin Bratt. She's one of the tortured freshmen girls--you can catch her in the scene where Parker Posey yells "AIR RAID!!" and there's a closeup of two girls hitting the deck with scared expressions--the one with the big permed hair and green shirt is Renee. She's also one of the two girls who cross the screen in front of McConaughey and Co., just before he utters the famous line about high school girls staying the same age. She's wearing lots more makeup than we're used to seeing on her, she's not very squinty, and I'd have never known it was her if I hadn't caught the extras on the Criterion DVD. Apparently she showed up at a cattle call for extras just before filming began in Austin--she was an undergrad student at UT and everyone was really impressed with her, but all the speaking roles had already been cast.

There's a Criterion Collection version of Dazed and Confused? Where has this been all my life?
