I read that Robin Wright is in talks to play Blomkvist's boss. She'd be an excellent pick imo.

I really hope they ditch any attempts at Swedish accents asap. It would make the whole remake idea even more idiotic. Cripes. Now I'm really worried about what kind of cheese-ness fake Swenglish speak will result in...  Just set it in Sweden and have people speak English. Remaking it is ludicrous anyway, but at least stay away from making it even worse. Maybe they'll take the Wallander approach? Kenneth Bragnaugh and the cast all speak in English accents, but the textss and emails they show on screen are Swedish. It's kind of disorientating to see at first, but it also helps the story remain true to the origins. |

They have to go with an unknown as Lisbeth. Any high profile actress would be a complete and total letdown. Hell, at this point, I wish they'd cast the leader singer from Tokio Hotel.  She's spot on, physically! |
