Wow...someone asked someone a question...and they answered it directly! And it happened multiple times! I'm dumbstruck over here. The body count is piling up very quickly now, today we had Zoey and Widmore. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if everyone but Jack dies in the finale. I hope Hurley and Miles make it but otherwise? Have at it Grim Reaper. Really, go ahead and take Kate. I insist.

Methinks Ben is a bit suicidal and just doesn't give a shit anymore. He's doomed no matter what he does.

I was wondering when Ana Lucia would pop up. It seems like most of them have somewhat opposite lives in the Alt universe, she was a tough but good cop in island world and in alt world she's a crooked cop.

Isn't Richard immortal? Seems like he'd be a bit harder to kill than simply being thrown up in the air by the smoke monster.

I loved how Hurley recognized her and was all, "Hey, Ana Lucia!" She looked at him like he was crazy...got a good chuckle out of that one. I love Hurley.

I'll go ahead and admit it--- I cried like a little girl with a skinned knee. From the time Ben realized they were walking over Alex's grave, to his dinner in the sideways with Rousseau (Yay!) and Alex, to when he shot Widmore. Micheal Emerson owns me.

And when Jack stood up and "accepted" his fate/took the job, I cried like a bitch. Maybe it's because the show is ending. Maybe it's PMS, but good gravy, come Sunday I'm going to be a wreck.

Yes James, you killed Jin and Sun (oh, and Lapidus and the captain). But it's okay, Smocke tricked you into it. Boo!! No Kate, you're not a special snowflake either, despite what Jacob said. Shit, Sun was a mom too. (Yeah, I know it only said Kwon, so it most likely meant Jin, I don't care. )

I hope Desmond's master plan isn't to blow up the concert hall with everyone in it. I'm so glad I'm spoiler free. Can't wait for Sunday.

Not surprised that Jack = new Jacob but I was sorta hoping that Hurley would be a dark horse contender. Maybe Hurley can be Jack's Richard.

I liked Jacob's "you were all flawed" explanation as to why he picked the Losties but it still doesn't explain why he picked these 6.

I'm not really clear on how they kill smokie or what him getting to the heart of the island will accomplish.

I'm guessing that all alt-island Losties will meet up at the concert? At this point I think Juliet has to be Jack's ex because she is the only lostie we haven't seen in the alt world.

Widmore's death seemed sort of pointless to me. I wonder was he really acting on Jacob's orders?

So if new Jackob defeats Smocke, and the rest of the Losties all die, they'll get their happy ending in the alternative timeline? Where would that leave Jack in the sideways if he's still alive on the island? What if they others live? How can they exist in two timelines? Will they stay on the island?

Also, are we ever going to get an answer to the numbers mystery? Who'll fly the plane if that's how/if they get off the island? Maybe they'll go by donkey-wheel? Ahhh!! I said I would let it go, not speculate, definitely not spoil, and wait and see. Now I'm going crazy thinking about the possibilities. I want to see Charlie and Claire meet in the alt. I want Des and Penny to have a happy ending. I want to see Bernard and Rose, and even Vincent again.

Waiting for Sunday is going to be brutal.

PS: I totally thought Des was going to run Locke down again in the alt.

I cried too. Dammit if this show isn't totally messing with our heads now. Giving us answers, giving us lines spoken previously by others to now be spoken by the remaining players... Kate saying Charlie's line "Terrific" really got to me for some reason, even though it wasn't even an important moment.

Ben with Alex and Danielle was a beautiful moment. I wonder how much Ben remembered of his other life in the alt-verse... He seemed somehow changed there, almost as though he remembered having raised Alex before.

Jack standing up and taking the job and then drinking from the cup... man oh man... Matthew Fox totally brought it. Jack's arc from S1 to now is just blowing my mind. And to me, this whole episode absolutely played like a part 2 to Across the Sea: we saw the end of Jacob's story and heard him say "Now you're like me" (seriously, that moment took my breath away). I loved last week's episode and I loved this week's and f-ing LOVE how this show pushes us to the brink like this when it's on its A-game.

The scene with Jacob when he explained why he picked them was very moving. I really love Pellegrino's way of portraying Jacob. There's now fake emotion there, no pretending to really care that he's dragged them on to the island, no sugarcoating. You're all flawed, and you needed this place and I'm not even going to apologize for it. Harsh, but I like that. And I also liked that the crossing out of names didn't really carry any magic meaning. It just meant he figured they didn't want the job (or were dead). I think now that the reason Sun didn't flash off the plane with everyone else to the 70s is because she was NOT the candidate: Jin was.

Seeing Ana-Lucia was awesome, and Hurley recognizing her was even better! Desmond is seriously freaking me out now: he's so zen it's unnatural. And how will remembering their "alternate" universe help in any way? Will it help the losties on the island?

I sure hope Richard is alive or that we at least get to see him dead. Don't kill the pretty already!

I was glad to see Zoe bite it but shocked that Widmore died already. So Desmond's the fail-safe and can presumably kill Smokey if the candidates should fail to do so. And Desmond turned the fail-safe in the hatch which made it explode... Smokey says he wants to destroy the island: as in put the C-4 into the glowy cave? Have Desmond put it in there maybe?

This was a hugely emotionally satisfying episode. My only complaint being that Richard's fate is still up in the air. Don't play with us like that at this point! If he's dead then show him to us dead. I had a bad feeling as soon as Richard stepped out of that door though... I'm thinking the monster just couldn't stand the sight of his hotness.

Sunday's show will be devastating I think. They squeezed me good today, but I think Sunday will just be hell. NTTAWWT!
