I've never been able to get why he was touted as being "so talented." Other than, like, MAYBE internal rhymes, I just don't get what the big deal is. Can someone 'splain?

Dwanollah: I think he was blown up because he was an OK rapper AND just happened to be White.... In my opinion, I think that's why he was blown up.
I like him--love G unit.

Have hated him for as long as I can remember. Was only mildly entertained by his first album and thought all subsequent musical product was utter shit.
And it's about time he retired. And Word on hoping he takes 50, G-Unit and D12 with him into obscurity. You can only rap about how you want to kill your wife/hate your mother so many times.

And I also wanted to add that another reason I like him is he comes off real...
he's not the over-the-top type (Diddy). Not materialistic and comes off laid back.

I think he's very good with lyrics or whatever you call the words to rap music. From what I've heard he's very good at "freestyle" rapping but I've never actually witnessed it. I like some of his stuff but have never purchased a CD.
I was thrilled when he won the Oscar for "Loose Yourself". That has to be one of the best Oscar moments ever.
