New candids of Alex & Taylor filming Battleship (October 22nd): Close-upFull Length ShotThey're dated October 22nd but they may be from last month. I've seen reports that Alex was spotted in Whole Foods in Baton Rouge yesterday so it sounds like they've resumed filming of Battleship in Louisiana. |

The link on YouTube has been pulled - here's the Teaser @ Movieline, along with Movieline's screencaps of Kitsch's most hilarious/ridiculous/awesome faces. I expect nothing less than a certain level of predictability from a Summer Tent Pole Flick this big-budget based on a board game. I really hope Rihianna doesn't suck as an actress. I like her a lot and think she has a lot of charisma, style and stage presence - I hope that translates. |

Is Taylor from Twilight? Or Friday Night Lights? I don't know him but I've heard the name. I just don't understand why this had to be called Battleship. Are they going to be duplicating moves from the game? Is it just an opportunity for a tie-in for the game (which I always thought was hopelessly boring)? They could've called it Danger at Sea, High Tides or something else completely different; the trailer isn't all "We're a BATTLESHIP, we're in a BATTLE...with SHIPS!"
