Well this was the episode that the zombies discovered camping, it was a good episode but this really screws with my sleep patterns on a Sunday night. Why did they actually sleep in tents? With thousands of hungry zombies around, I sure as hell would sleep in a very firm vehicle or place...ready to take off any second. That bugged me since ep 1. Get an armored car or find a bunker to sleep in. But a tent? Ridiculous!

Or at least have three or four people on shifts watching each end of the perimeter at night while the others are by the fire eating or sleeping in case... you know....the freak'n zombies just walk right the hell up to your camp! Welcome to the zombie apocalypse .... amateurs .....sheesh.

Or why the guys ran back from Atlanta instead of taking one of the many abandoned cars on the road?
I did think the zombie attack was intense but I had to laugh when all of a sudden it seemed like the camp population tripled in size just so they could kill most of the extras off. I could've have sworn I saw Shane get bit at one point but then he seemed okay a scene later.
I really want to like this show but the dialogue is so bad. And most of the characters are such cliches. I don't know maybe I expected more because the show is on AMC but so far this show is kinda disappointing. Hopefully now that they have a second longer season it'll get better.

I must be the only one getting a little bored with this. Even the nursing home bit had me rolling my eyes a little. I actually thought the scene where the guy described his wife and child being killed/bitten was the most riveting. The part where the zombie enters the tent of wifebeater was the creepiest. I was hoping perhaps Merle had brought the zombies back in the van and released them as his revenge. That would set up a cool brother on brother showdown. I officially hate the actress playing Rick's wife. Co-signing your entire post. When it turned into the oh so cliched vatos with hearts of gold, I checked out. The hole digging guy was creepy, but I guess he's psychic now . And a serious WTF to all the new faces aka canon fodder that appeared last night. I totally thought that Merle had brought the zombies back to camp as well. And where the hell is he? How is he still conscious? What is he eating? How is he driving in his condition? Where is he going? Jebus. This show has been on a downward spiral since the first episode.

I loved the threat of the dogs, only to find out they were tiny chihuahua-like pups. Funny.
I hate the character, but she's so pretty I don't mind it when she's on screen.
I didn't really find that believable, how he just didn't remember. I mean, seemed kind of obvious that he was digging graves. And yet he didn't remember WHY, despite the fact that they're in the middle of a zombie apocalypse? Oooookaaaay.
Was it really? Wow! Didn't even notice that, but what a crazy sequence! I felt like we were waiting the whole episode for some crazy zombie action, and it really paid off.

I've been hanging in there because my boyfriend is a huge fan of the comics, and I keep hoping it'll get better. Plus there are only 2 episodes left this season... but really, I just can't get into it. I think the actors are pretty bad for the most part, and I don't like any of the characters except Rick and Glenn, so I don't care when the zombies are after them. In fact, in the camp scene I was practically rooting for the zombies. The two blonde sisters bored me to tears during the fishing scene at the beginning of the episode. Anyway, the BF promises me that if they follow the comics, things should get really interesting later on.

Yeah, the fishing scene was bad. But what I do like is the diversity of the survivors and how their different cultures are bumping up against each other, even if the characters are a bit stereotypical.

I don't know if I would be fishing in a zombie apocalypse, I think I would focusing more on not getting killed.
