But seriously, Stealth seems like the first crapfest movie (Sweet Home Alabama notwithstanding) that he's done. I would prefer he stayed an excellent charcter actor as opposed to some movie carrying stah.

Damn, that's another hunka man on my list that Salma Hayek's got her mitts on.

While JL was great in that movie, Patrick Dempsey's not exactly chopped liver, either.

He's very good-looking, but he seems to emit "asshole" vibes. I don't know why. I think he's the one who dated Jennifer Connelly and I don't think he treated her well.

I totally thought Jennifer Connelly dated Josh Charles (Sports Night, etc...) all this time! In fact, I thought Josh Charles was Josh Lucas, until I came to this thread and didn't recognize any of the movies being named as starring the Josh I had in mind, so I went to IMDB and realized I've never seen this Josh Lucas person before, and he isn't Josh Charles.


ets: Ok - Josh Lucas and Josh Charles are different people, but Charles dumped Connelly. Which one dated Hayek?

I thought for sure he was Newman's son who had just changed the last name so as not to be too obvious. They should do a project together, or he should do a Paul Newman biog-type-but-creative-pic.

They did do a project together! Josh Lucas plays Paul Newman's character in a flashback in Empire Falls, which was playing on HBO a lot a few months back. He's uncredited, though, which is why it didn't get much attention. I was really surprised when I saw the movie.

And yeah, he's quite hot and makes Sweet Home Alabama un-throw-outtable.

Everything makes much more sense in my world now. This Lucas fellow looks much more like the kind of guy who'd date and/or dump Jennifer Connelly and/or Salma Hayek. I never thought it seemed right that Josh Charles was going out with them.

Jennifer Connelly dated Josh Charles. He broke up with her a day or two before the Oscars.

Topic? Josh Lucas is very hot. And he was great in You Can Count on Me (one of my favourite movies).

I can see why people would think he's Paul Newman's kid, in some of the pics I am finding of him he's a total deadringer for him.

Also, I don't think he dated Jennifer Connelly, at least, I don't remember hearing about it. Josh Charles was the dude that dumped her on Oscar night though, they kind of look alike in that inoffensive and bland white guy sort of way. Oops, Fiona 3 beat me to it. I can't post links fast enough (shakes fist at self).

Thanks for the correction on the Connelly thing. It goes to show you how interchangeable actors are.
