He's said before he is constantly mistaken for Matthew McConaghey, to the extent that people get really pissed if he argues he isn't. So he said it's just easier to say yeah, he is Matthew and sign an autograph that way.

He's so hot, and that smile, but that hairline is receding...fast. Not that would prevent the doing of him, several times.

I definitely see the resemblance between him and McConaughey. I don't think he's as handsome as MM, but he seems much more normal so that gives him the edge in my book. MM's appeal is greatly diminished by the weirdness, whereas JL has something about him that enhances his appeal.

It's kind of like the Joshua Jackson/Paul Walker test. The former isn't that traditionally handsome but I think he comes across as alluring and full of sex appeal because of his voice, mannerisms, and his bearing. The latter is utterly gorgeous but does absolutely nothing for me when I see him in action. In fact, he comes across as so sexless and goofy that I don't even consider him attractive.

I'm watching the NFL Playoff Game between NE Patriots and the Jax Jags and Josh Lucas' voice is the voice they are using to segway from the game to commercials. It's a take-off from some of his lines from his new movie Glory Road . I thought that was pretty cool !

And I'm so happy to see that he is a lead in Posiedon Adventure 2006 . He is one sexy man . Love his blue eyes !

I saw "Glory Road" today. Yeah, it was a typical, feel good, underdog sports movie, but I thought Josh did a good job working with the lines that he had.
He was cute in "Sweet Home Alabama" with that shaggy haircut, but much yummier here with a short hair cut/business like wardrobe.
Also, I liked hearing him use that Southern drawl.
He seems like he'd be a nice guy, just not outstanding. Some of those movies you guys mentioned above, I've actually seen and I have no recollection of seeing him there! Still, he's not forgettable in the way somebody like Michael Vartan is, so I think he's got a shot at staying as a strong B-list actor/getting decent character roles.
At least the media hasn't tried to shove him down our throats as the next Big Movie Star (like Jude Law or Kate Hudson); which would probably backfire.

I really liked him in Sweet Home Alabama- its nice to see a southern draw on a character who is not written like an extra from Deliverance.
